  • i wonder what it would be like if they had a vocalist...?

  • this is deep bro

  • It was totally worth holding my urin till the end of this song.I am going now.

  • So watery. This song makes me thirsty!

  • Do you guys also think about spore when hearing this?

  • Just beautiful... So musical, so sensible, so original. Great job :)

  • Our this song reminds me of donkey kong super nintendo

  • @kadaspi123 Haha just what I thought =P

  • 3 people still watching porn xD

  • @pedrinho1769

    Shut the fuck up

  • @pedrinho1769 try harder homo.

  • John Myung, his vocals are best made here

  • sounds kinda similar to some king crimson song to me, but the drums seem out of place it's like portnoy is playing a different genre than the rest of the band,

o wait I almost forgot the big fucking "IMO" so that fans will hate me less for this

  • Well, technically.... osmosis is the movement of water from a high water potential to a low water potential through a semi permiable membrane. I sat a biology A level a few days ago. Dont fuck with me. ;)

  • @kingconnor69......Actually, Osmosis is the net movement of water molecules from a high concentration to a low concentration over a partially permiable membrane. I also sat a Science exam yesterday!

  • @guycornwall Net movement of water molecules from an area of high water potential to an area of lower water potential*. pedant.jpg

  • @WillP999 That's pretty much what I said mate!

  • @kingconnor69 your fuckin stupid

  • @xXSidVicousXx

    ...Ironic.

  • it would be awesome if you had a pool that every time you went under you heard this song

  • only one bad thing in this song: it's too short :)

  • This song totally sounds like it belongs on a nature documentary soundtrack.

  • i tryed to dowload this video as an mp3, but the raw awesome was too much for the program and killed it.

  • This is Spiritual

  • Just knowing that there will never be another album like LTE1&2 makes me reconsider living... Just kidding, but this is fucking good music.

  • whit some pot ... i am very high.

  • this was the first LTE song i ever heard, the bassline blew my mind. still does, every time.

  • Would you guys quit talking about buckethead on a LTE vid.....

  • @xDroflmao1337 its all responses to my comment i made a YEAR ago... -_- i shouldntve opened that bucket.

    .......... wait...... dammit.

  • Proof that Portnoy and Petrucci can do more than metal.

  • @Tuzioya Ummm... it's Tony Levin playing the bass you know?

  • @ybrehtar13 Yeah? What does that have to do with what I said?

  • You have good taste kid!

  • This song can cure cancer.

  • Epic bass :)

  • i can feel something warm in my belly runing to my arms and legs...is not shit im fucking sure!!!...

    L

    S

    D

  • This song is relaxing... I just venture in this one like a new world... A new frontier made out of the most serene mist..

  • This is the perfect song for a documental about Osmosis in National Geographic. Shows how well they captured the moment hehe.

  • Now that i hear this song...i can die in peace

  • that bassline is amazing

  • I enjoyed this more than any Dream Theater I've ever listened to... until around 1:30 when Portnoy started playing. Reminded me of King Crimson's song Discipline until then. Then it reminded me of something I didn't want to listen to anymore.

  • I was wondering what kind of percussion makes the almost melodic sound featured in this song.

  • i really love it!!

does anybody know other music like this

that make you feel as if you were on an adventure in the jungle???

  • its relaxing you can imagine your on some kind of adventure but i will say its very light

  • i prefer zelda when your underwater this reminds me of it

  • Different.....vibrating vibs....cool in the mind.

  • wish this song run over half an hour... it's so relaxing for me!

  • SUPERB

  • amazing

i enjoy this much more than dt

  • @abcbamzz

well sometimes that screaming woman can ruin songs lol, no offense labrie

  • i hear you.

but its not the fact of being instrumental, its much more advanced and progressive.

there's too much 'extra' material from dt, thats the only way i can really explain it.

  • @xxTWOxxFACExx I agree...

For me,the best example would be DreamTheaters song "Constant Motion"

Labrie... He is not a bad singer or anything, but most of the time, I just like skipping to my favorite instrumental parts =3

  • Sweet, these guys are pretty cool. The variety of instruments and effects they use to create this sound is awesome! Killer grup and I agree that you people are stupid for getting all technical the wrong way, should have gone into depth about the music not actual osmosis!

  • ozzy and drix rule!!

  • i can't believe its not butter either

  • i can't believe it's not butter, margarine

  • i cant believe its not butter

  • i can't believe that instead of appreciating these masters of music, you people start a discussion on osmotic processes...XD

  • you know what i just realized listening to this? buckethead just got his ass KICKED

  • True. But he's not that bad either.

  • @mxmontiel I LOVE buckethead and dream theater and john is beer at guitar but bucket is more creative by a ton

  • @mxmontiel How is that so O.o? Were they even competing?

  • @boogyman19946 all professional musicians are inherently competing for respect and recognition. thats part of putting food on their table. so yes. i try avoid naive altruism :)

  • @mxmontiel Well then be it ^.^ I like them both myself, so I don't discriminate between the two.

  • @mxmontiel that makes no sense... theres no reason to try and cheapshot BH, especially if you've ever heard padmasana or for mom. Both groups can make beautiful music for everyone to enjoy.

  • @mxmontiel omg...i know he's really good and all...but fuck buckethead...one dimensional...

  • @jareds1007

avant-garde, bluegrass, ambient, dark ambient, spanish classical, rock and metal of many forms, funk, the blues and other genres are all under buckethead's belt. one dimensional? i don't think so. his shred is repetitive and he recycles patterns here and there, but with the amount of material he writes recycling is inevitable. on top of that, if he does recycle, he know what to recycle, and when to recycle.

  • @Fluffypopcicle Who the f*** cares about names of genres. If you asked Bucketehad about what kind of music he plasys, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't give you that list.

  • @Fluffypopcicle I stand corrected

  • @mxmontiel

    haha...no.

john petrucci = an excellent guitarist with great solo and band work.

buckethead = a twisted genius who has written over 40 solo cds has written for several bands, invented his own form of finger tapping, and plays well over 10 genres on the guitar fluently. on top of that he also kicks ass on the bass guitar and is a good drummer. petrucci is awesome, but he isn't better than buckethead.

  • @mxmontiel More like buckethead kicked the bucket rofl

  • Osmosis... Jones?

  • tony levens.......sucks!........LOLZ, HES THE BOMB..and w/ this group of musicians what more can you ask for!

  • AWESOME

  • amazing

  • that is some pretty extreme bass :P nice, relaxing song :) i like it

  • Its a chapman stick, love it

  • hey, so what is a chapman stick?is that some special kind of bass? could you clear this up for me? ive been wondering for a long time lol

  • its a stick with many string and you tap everything you

    play. google it!

  • cool i googled it. ya thats pretty cool. 12 strings, 6 bass 6 guitar, ya thats pretty awesome.

  • Comment removed

  • @charvinaldo You can hear the Sitck on 'The Stretch' for sure, the same album :). BTW, a superb track.

  • @charvinaldo Ever tried googling it? It's just a couple of clicks... But yeah, It's basically a bass, except with loads of strings (8, maybe?), so its fat as hell :) And it's just a stick, no body (or very little body) hence the name 'stick'. Invented by a Mr. Chapman, therefore the Chapman Stick, lol. I think you play it acoustically, or you can. It has a far greater range of pitches, so you can slap a melody and bassline all on the same instrument :)

  • kick-ass basssss

  • That's the Chapman stick, and I agree: kick-ass basssss :D

  • best song ever.. myfavoriet song. oh wait, (I'm Mattiafrasca) im using myt rfiendkf acount.,

  • I don't have to be stoned to see the cells dividing when listening to this song =3.

  • Well, actuallyyyyy......cell division is called mitosis. Osmosis is the movement of water in and out of cells. Sorry to burst your bubble. =P

  • @runtodemhills

Haha, no harm done, there's a reason I only have a 60% in Biology =P.

  • Ha, I just had a biology exam recently. Never once asked about osmosis. I was gutted. =P

  • I don't think its only in and out of cells, it's the movement of water over membranes in general (maybe even all movement of water on a molecular level).

Don't forget that there os also meiosis! (don't know if i spelled that correctly^^)

  • which has nothing to do with osmosis whatsoever lol. two totally different processes

  • I'm aware of that, it was referring to comment nr.1 and 2 in which they were commenting on cell division and mitosis.

Mitosis and meiosis are complete and incomplete DNA-synthesis during cell divison.

Apologizing for the lack of correct terminology, I'm just a dumb swede knowing nothing of the english terms :P

  • @runtodemhills from an area of high concentration to low concentration!!!!!! am i right, i just did this in biology:D:D haha

  • @runtodemhills Hurry for 9th grade chemistry! lol

  • @runtodemhills Totally right buddy... for the ones that arent sure look it up in khanacademy...

  • @runtodemhills Actually, movement of water from a high potential to low potential through a semi/selectively-permeable membrane. Not necessarily a cell membrane, so for as I'm aware.

  • @Suckassloser well i guess that settles that lol.

  • @runtodemhills To be more specific, Osmosis is the diffusion of water across a cell membrane through protein channels.

  • @XxStrongDrums1996xX No u s00ped drk, osmosis is ossy osbourne album

  • @runtodemhills noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. i just had horrible flashbacks to biology. class. *rocking back and forth in a corner of a room now in the fetal position* lol

  • @runtodemhills Actually its the movement of water through a semipermeable membrane. Be that a cell or a synthetic filter...

  • @runtodemhills the osmosis is a kind of simple diffusion!

  • what is the bitrate of this song?¿

  • It is wav but it probably got compressed when I made it in Windows Movie Maker.

  • Bitrate is like 128ko/s

  • ahhhh yeahhhhh!!

  • swaheely
