  • If you watch the video that is on youtube called the Osmonds 1974 - 1-1 etc, it is their live shows they did for the BBC, and if you watch it you will see that Wayne sang quite a lot of the time with a good vocal range. Check it out then comment again.

  • One of my favorites of theirs. Thanks for uploading it.

  • This song was on The Plan Album

  • I kinda like Merrill's outfit.

  • Does anyone know when this song was recorded?

  • @AmyD1958 1973 or 1974 I think

  • What a brilliant energy this tracks got..The refrain at 1.18 gives me goose bumps..Thanks for posting :)

  • I agree with lynjef...my favorite video of Merrill. I think it's because of that smile at 00.18 or so. It's REAL smil, not one "for the cameras"

    I need a cold shower...

  • Never seen this one before! Is it just me or did Merrill smile at Donny at one point like he was trying not to laugh?

    Anyway...thanks for posting this one!

  • Could someone please tell me what kind of guitar ALAN is playing? I love the tone coming from it. Also, why didn't they let WAYNE do some of the lead singing? Seems like MERRILL got all the credit, poor darlin WAYNE

  • Alan's guitar is a Gibson SG.

And, I agree, SGs have an absolutely gorgeous sound.

  • Wayne is a baritone and his vocal range is limited, as opposed to Merrill's tenor, which enables him to sing a wider range.

Wayne did sing lead on a very few things though.

  • I'm watching Merrill sing this song on his 'Back in Black' dvd and my head's going side to side, TV screen, computer screen, TV screen, computer screen I'm getting dizzy - just love it.

It's still my favourite video of Merrill on YT.

    cheers

  • They never get old!!!

  • Oh 'flowerchild1260' definitely my most favourite video of Merrill of all time - he is (they all are actually) just gorgeous.

    Cheers for sharing this gem.

  • Love it !! Nice to see something different by then than the frilly suits and drilled dancesteps.I LOVED this song when I was just a four year young little girl, and it has still a place in my heart.Rock'nRoll when it's as best.Thank you.

  • Donnys bubblegum voice was gone...so the Osmonds popularity went down...

  • For all your Osmond fans out there, I just want to say pay your respect to this family.

RIP George Osmond, God bless you xxxxxxxxxxxx

  • OMG that was AWESOME. Merrill's voice is absolutely incredible.

    MERRILL ROCKS xxxxx.

  • i really like this song...and it proves to the person complaining on the double lovin' song that they can really play music and its not just people playing in the background or them lip-syncing.

  • This song was the perfect end to a beautiful concept album in "The Plan", yet it stands on its own merits with the infectious, driving tempo. Both the Chuck Berry and Wings comparisons are good ones (I guess Macca did listen to it after all).

  • I love this song. I cannot think of anything that the Osmonds sing that I do not like. My teenage and preteen kids even like the Osmonds

  • Reminds me of Wings' "Rock Show" from the "Venus and Mars" album, which came out a couple of years later.

  • sounds like Go Johnny Go by chuck Berry

  • Hi sister ! But you can not deny the fact that 30 years have past and we are still rooting for the Osmonds.

  • I've been waiting too long, and here they are; best remembered in Israel with "crazy horses" but that one did well too!
