The "original" Listerine (once touted in the early '70s as "The taste people hate- twice a day") isn't really "pushed" by the company that markets it {Johnson & Johnson} these days- now, they're more concerned with selling the "flavored" kinds, including "Cool Mint" and "Orange Citrus"...that's Burgess Meredith's voice in the Busch Gardens ad.
Back then, the Academy Awards were only shown live on the east coast and were on tape delay for the west coast. But now it is shown live on both ends of the United States.
You are correct, Manson supposedly selected 10050 Cielo Drive in Hollywood due to his connection with Melcher.....he felt Melcher dumped him and initiated the murder of Sharon & guests as his chief killer that night, Tex Watson new the layout of the house.....!!!! however he was VERY much aware Melcher no longer lived there having visited the property Mar 69' and coming face to face with its new owner (Sharon)
