My son was diagnosed a year ago with Bullous Mastocytosis at 5 months old. It is a mast cell disease that shows up on the skin. His skin looks camouflage, often blisters, daily red welts and scarring left behind. I have always been a fan of SixxAm and I LOVE love this song! My little boy is so happy and full of life and oh so handsome. I hope people will see the real him and not just his skin! :)

@kb91705 I'd just like to say that as someone who suffers from ichthyosis (although minor compared to some cases) and has skin that looks like a crocodile, sores on the back of my ankles where the skin has simply split, and sometimes the skin around my eyes looks like you took a belt sander to it, i can say that there are amazing, caring, and loving people that can look past skin and love someone for who they are. Your son wont have it the easiest, but he'll find someone amazing.

This song is about people who are disabled or look different than others and that it's actually them, who are beautiful. The scars on their skin are made by people who judged and the song tells everyone to not criticize others from what they look like, but to look into their personalities, instead of making assumptions.

This reminds me so much about myself, I've had a past as a damn hell I have many scars, ain't looking for attention, but still.. It reminsd me, becouse I'm something, something good inside myself, I get peoples attention just becouse I stand up for them, I'm always there for them. It also reminds me of my love... I struggle with heroin addiction every day and staying clean and the hardest part is doing it for YOURSELF...because everyone sees me as the lying junkie whore, no matter how good I'm doing. I've been in and out of rehabs, day programs, psych wards, people see me and their best idea is to lock me up somewhere? Everybody has a story and it's amazing...

@JoeySixxVI How true, everyone does have an amazing story. I suspect if we spent time sharing our stories with one another we'd all find a lot more common ground as human beings, which would enable us to start relating and being supportive of all the people we know. If asked 25 years ago, I'd say I wouldn't be alive today; people still comment on my suicide scars no matter how old and faded they are. But it's okay because in the end I know who I am and can say today I'm happy being alive.

After twelve days of searching for venominion22's comment, with little food and water in a dark damp room with only my monitor and computer to keep me company, I finally found it. Only then did I realize my search was in vain, as he was just another troll looking for attention on Youtube by insulting amazing songs.

i know its a cliche and i dont care, because its true, this song helped me realise i was on a downward spiral and i needed to sort myself out before i ripped everything apart and lost everything i hold dear. i'm now seeking help and going to be attending councilling to help with my problems and hopefully get back on the right path in life rather than trying my best to screw everything up
