  • It looks good but that swinging Sonic toy would annoy the heck out of me!

  • I've been really interested in adding games to my Saturn collection... and I love racing games. This could be fun!

  • Wow, I had no idea Rad Mobile made it's way to a home system. This just made my day, haha. :)

  • uggh why wasn't this released in North America? I loved the arcade original.

Great video! Keep up the good work.

  • I bet the reason why Sega of America left this in Japan because they probably thought it was an ugly game compared to PS1's Ridge Racer so they decided to use Daytona USA as its competition. Funny how this game looks like it aged better than the Saturn Daytona.

  • HA! This was one of the games I got a few weeks ago in the import lot I bought. I was testing the game and ended up having a blast for an extra 20-30 minutes after I had it running.

Fun racing title. I had never played the arcade version so it was new to me.

    Great vid

  • I have to buy Saturn someday :}i really liked that Sonic easter egg

  • i lold at the little sonic swinging bck and forth. defintaly a nice looking racer on this system might try to pick it up. great review again snow

  • Pretty cool trivia about that being Sonic's first appearance in a video game. I think I would enjoy it since I'm a fan of arcade racers.

  • @johnnyjohnson Oh yeah, I thought I remembered you mentioning that you're a fan of Outrun. In that case, I would definitely think that you would be into this one.

  • Graphics are pretty dang good for a Saturn racer...especially those FMV's. If I ever happen upon a cheap copy I may give it a try.

  • @stratamaster78 Heck yeah dude, it's really a lot of fun. It's too bad I can't really jump into the Vs. mode. I would like to see what that's about!

  • wait the game takes place in the u.s.a but was only available in japan and it was never released int the U.S.A gee I wonder why the saturn failed lol.

  • @segaatari25 Well, I don't know if "failed" would be the word i would use. Mis-marketed in the US? Totally. The system was one of Sega's most successful overall though.

  • @snowcon3 the saturn was one of sega's biggest mistake's it was marketed against the playstation . The playstation was 300 $ and the saturn was 400 $ and the playstion had better games . The saturn only did good in japan in america and europe it failed. The dreamcast was way more sucessful until the ps2 came along. I mean it;s a great system don't get me wrong but after the sega cd and 32x no one was willing to trust sega.

  • @segaatari25 The Dreamcast's downfall had little to do with competition from Sony. The reason the Dreamcast fell off the map was due to software piracy which made it so Sega couldn't sell any third party software. The PS2 during it's initial release year here in the USA had a very slim launch library. It took the PS2 a while to get it's stride going. Also, the Saturn wasn't marketed as a PSX competitor here at the outset. The Saturn came out before the Playstation.

  • @snowcon3 yeah but sega knew sony was trying to get into the video game industry, they tried to get to get in even in the early 90's with nintendo.

  • @snowcon3

Back when the DC was new, I recall everyone and their mothers telling me to wait for the PS2 because it plays DVD movies. I definitely think it was the PS2 "OMFG DVD MOVIEZ" hype that shortened the systems life span as well. That + piracy is a lethal combination.

  • Nice review man, very informative. Got any plans for your next review?

  • @SpiffyBiscuits5 I've got a couple in the works and yet another coming this weekend. Thanks for watching man!
