You cannot save the earth. The bible clearly states there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth. This one will be destroyed by fire at Jesus' return. You can save your soul however, and live eternally with Jesus if you will believe and be saved. We do not control our destiny...God does. Repent and turn to the one true God who can save you.

Well, I don't know where exactly and clearly says in the bible that the earth will be destroyed. However, it says that our faith along with our actions will save us. So, if we treat bad other living beings and our environment, we are indirectly (or directly) affecting other human beings. God loves all his creation, so disrespecting other living beings is like disrespecting God. The Earth Charter just promotes that we take care better of all life that surrounds us.

You are correct in saying we should be good stewards of the Earth that God so graciously gave us, However the fact still remains that this Earth will be destroyed (Revelation 21:1) As far as faith,only faith & belief in Jesus Christ as the Savior of your soul will save YOU. Not the Earth. Mankind cannot save this Earth. Thanks for your reply! I pray that you know Jesus as your savior so that you may spend eternity in Heaven and the New Earth with Him! Blessings.
