You know it is hard to say what the best decade of music was. I am attatched to the 80's cause I was growing up as a child then. I didn't listen to the 90's much because I was dealing with the turning into an adult stuff. Now I look back and listen to the 90's and i'm like DAMN what the hell did I miss out on. 90's ruled too!!

@jzy0104 yes, the 80's brought a plethora of authentic, timeless music. However to describe songs now as "rubbish" must come from an individual with a "rubbish" attitude. :-) and if u havent found any soul, the you're clearly not looking hard enough.

But the Music has never gotten better or worse, just changed is all. In 50 years, families will be bitching about how great lady gaga was, she will just be the next fading madana. I like good music, not Eras.

@jzy0104 I agree with what you said about the 80's being the best decade for music. But I have to disagree with your declaration that Debbie Gibson was like Lady Gaga from that era. Debbie; although slightly more flashy than Tiffany was still pretty conservative compared to others from that era. I would have to nominate Madonna as the Lady Gaga of the 80's. She was provocative, flashy, and very controversial. Oh, and underneath all those traits she could actually sing.

I was a Tiffany fan too, but seriously, Debbie was wayyyyyyy better. Tiffany had 2.5 hits, I think We're Alone Now, Could've Been and I Saw Him Standing There was average.
Debbie Gibson had about 10 awesome songs, just off her first two albums!!!! She was heaps better.

I had a dog who died, and I can't help but think of this sone. Makes me cry that the name was Tiffany and had bright red hair like bozo on stage. These days are lonely without the old 4 on the floor but they still linger. It's just the dog had a smile and no song of sorrow. I my dog was mans best friend not could have been on a cold n lonely night.

I did 6 months of chemo last year and had a reaction that made my heart rate jump up to about 102 for the duration. That doesn't even hold a candle to what Tiffany still does to me after 23+ years! I'd like to say I appreciate her now more than ever, but she was and still is my biggest crush ever!
