  • WHere's the HD version?

  • You know it is hard to say what the best decade of music was. I am attatched to the 80's cause I was growing up as a child then. I didn't listen to the 90's much because I was dealing with the turning into an adult stuff. Now I look back and listen to the 90's and i'm like DAMN what the hell did I miss out on. 90's ruled too!!

  • @Alaskanbigmoose 90's had some good musicians too, Cranberries was and is still one of my favorites, but sometime in the mid to late 90's it seems that music starting changing, at least for me.

  • I was born 2/13/88. It was number one that day too. Looked it up out if curiosity.

  • This was the number 1 song 2/9/1988, the week I was birthed

  • I hope someone post videos of her tonight at the Phouse in Orlando PLEASE !!!!

  • I recall when i was younger i wanted to marry Tiffany ever so bad. I would still today too. We are the same age.

  • You people that complain about "today's music" are just as bad as all the idiot parents from the 80's that thought our music was "bad" or "no talent"! I liked Tiffany, but lets face it, she had 1 album that did anything! Yes, I love hearing it and reliving that summer in 198(6 or 7.. memory is bad these days); but lets face it the kids now are going to be saying the same things about Gaga, Ke$ha, Nikki, and all the other artists that you are now TOO OLD to like!! YOU have become your PARENTS!!

  • 1000 times better than Lady Ga Ga HELL YEAH! if you are a true talented singer, you don't need costumes that divert attention, or back up dancers or any of that shit, all you need is 1) a good voice, 2) good songs Tiffany is a very good singer, I always loved her I am an 80's kid. 80's was the best time for music, we all know that!

  • @maleficentdiva Lady Gaga is a better singer- try to find some clips of her live performance in YouTube. I liked Tiffany and this song - don't get me wrong.

  • Lol don't blame the artists, the blame should be put on the audience the songs are targeted to. That's what the masses want so that's what the artists make. The artists of today have talents but the way they are using it lacks depth or whatever art/emotion/heart association you can come up with. At least she's trying to be different.

  • pure talent is what tiff has, loved her back then and still love her songs now

  • This is exactly what people try to look like nowadays, and what most artists wish they sounded like without autotune and lip syncing. Wonderful, but puts me in a melancholy mood. I wish for this innocent time. The movies were so much better too.

  • @JennRighter

Don't forget the TV shows, including Growing Pains, which is where I first heard this wonderful song!

  • Forever 80's!

  • Wow she sounds amazing, no backup dancers, leotard ...just a talented singer.

  • @ShadyPines7 That was the 80's there was more talented people then just a product...

  • Get Debbie Gibson, producing skills and Tiffany's killer vocals, and what we have here is one monster hit. No joke, fa reals.

  • Miss Darwish hit #1 in Billboard, 2-6-88. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great weekend!

  • i totally used to jam the whole album this song is on and still know the words to half of them by heart. i shit you not.

  • was this live?? coz she truly sounds great!!

  • Tiffany can SING. I love this song.

  • I couldn`t stand Tiffany or Debbie Gibson, when I was 10 years old. I still don`t. Their music is crap. Nostalgia hasn`t made them more attractive to my ear.

  • @stuvo1977 yet it's interesting that you're here watching their videos and bothering to comment.

  • @txlatina Well said mate, I think stuvo1977 is a big tough closet Tyffany fan

  • 24 ppl dont knw what could've been

  • Estimated friend, if you want to listen again this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - looks for his direction URL in Google ( search Musica para Mimos in Google)-. best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is great, is very good ...!!!

  • Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Martika, and Paula Abdul. The dynasty of 1989.

  • wow love this song takes me to my childhood

  • That old it's like the 80s

  • nothing will ever beat the 80s era for me alot of good songs now but the 80s paved the way

  • @firedog1336 oh sorry...i'm planning to click the thumbs up, but clicked the thumbs down, i didn't mean it...sorry

  • Anyone who like and support TIFFANY even to this time follow us on facebook-TIFFANY RENEE DARWISH Fanpage by Billy Ricker. We must not forget her she touches us with her music. And you know she still active even this time.

  • Hi!, I from Caracas city-Venezuela, excuseme my English.

Could anyone tell me specifically the place and date of this presentation of Tiffany singing "Could've been" song?; this presentation seems to be singing live, the sound is very very good!!.

Is this in live or she is singing in playback? .

  • @m3c4n0 This is a music video and at the same time, a live version of the song, played in San Francisco, California. Hope that helps.

  • OMG!!!! SHE WAS CHRISTINA AND DEBBIE GIBSON WAS BRITNEY xD

  • @alerich20 No, you see, Tiffany and Debbie Gibson can actually sing.

  • @fightinleeroyjenkins well...Christina can sing too, so does Britney, review the voice of Debbie is on the same reguster than Britney's...well...Christina beats them all hahaha...but i was talking specifically about attitudes, you know genie in a bottle was more adult then baby one more time, "i think we're alone now" was stronger (on the theme and singing) than any song of Debbie...you know like hilary and lindsay, Madonna and Cyndi

  • i like this song it is just like the oldies , just like the moment ..

  • Whatever happened to tiffany?

  • You mean she isnt wearing see through bubbles as clothing? She isnt singing controversial lyrics? She isnt wearing a "meat" dress or arriving in an egg? OMG! She isnt trying to make some political statement? How on earth did she ever become popular...oh thats right, she had something that the singers of today dont depend on...pure talent, true fan connection and natural beauty.

  • @ElectricEyeDj HA! Imagine that! lol

  • @ElectricEyeDj Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

  • @ElectricEyeDj I really like this track. And I agree: She had alot of talent

  • @ElectricEyeDj Well said

  • To all you South Carolina Gamecocks fans (like myself): This was the #1 song in the USA when recently re-instated quarterback Stephen Garcia came into the world (February 15, 1988). Hopefully, this won't be his theme song.

  • Tiffany... It's not could've been.... because you are already beautiful and always will be!!!

  • Every dolled-up, big-hair 80's girl I knew played (or sang) this song to death, back when it was hot; it was THE sentimental, sappy song of its day.

  • Back when it was cool to be sweet and innocent....

  • agh!!! i miss the 80's and the 90's i wish we could go back and relive them both so bad but instead we are here in this hell hole today i miss the good ole days!!

  • I wonder if there's an official video for this tune; I haven't seen it.

  • Dear Billy Ricker, I ask that you please see this movie: "I THINK WE'RE ALONE NOW" ithinkwerealonenow . com (about Tiffany "fans") I am sure you can buy it on eBay and/or Amazon, there is also a good FACEBOOK page for it. So, I mean this only as friendly advice for you to possibly help you to get a grip on yourself, please. Thank you for understanding. Your friend, - Philip Dru.

  • Ahhh yes takes me back to spring 1988 when I had my heart broken when me and a certain person were banned from seeing each other and we always sang this song and said we'll get back together some day, we ran into each other now and again over the years and it was like no time had passed. Time moved on, I moved away and we both married different people but i think there will always be a special place in our hearts.

  • @katrob03 the same with my ex and i..always be a place in my heart for him

  • To the doucebag known as Justin Bieber and his doucebag fans: Tiffany has better songs and a better voice then you and your songs Mr. Bieber are total garbage! Yes or No: Would you guys be interested in a Justin Bieber Demolition Night?

  • @MrBennetzen

    Tiffany, by far!

  • @SenhorBundy I get a daily dose of STFU from Beiber fans everytime I say that "Bieber Sucks!" or advocate the sequel to the infamous Disco Demolition Night!

  • Who else first heard this song on Growing Pains?

  • @SenhorBundy i did and then i didnt know who sang it until finally after 15 yrs of finding out who sang this song its a good song

  • Could have been.. Tsk tsk tsk.. I'm actually crying as I listen to this song.. Could have been..

  • I love this song very much

  • To all you South Carolina Gamecocks fans (like myself): This was the #1 song in the USA when suspended Quarterback Stephen Garcia came into the world (February 15, 1988). Hopefully, this won't be his theme song.

  • Ms Tiffany is AMAZING- DEAR GOD WE WILL GIVE YOU GAGA, AND BEIBER BACK IF YOU WOULD GIVE US THE 80'S BACK---STYLE, DANCE, MEANING, AND TALENT THAT WAS HARD EARNED- THE 80'S WERE THE BEST-

  • @vleon1012 i don't get it, is this a joke? she was and she is a very very good singer.

  • aa ! I cant help my self. I addicted :P

  • I like her voice. Very strong yet femenine :)

  • wow, i would Not consider lady gaga to be todays version of yesterdays debbie gibson. debbie gibson was cookie cutter cute, she wore trendy cute clothes to be sure, but she was pretty all around wholesome, sang very vanilla songs etc... ...while on the other hand, lady gaga is a complete FREAK. debbie gibson at least represented her days youth. lady gaga just scares & nauseates me. but back to tiffany... great 80's tune.

  • Very seldom today to hear a song with a beautiful Guitar Solo..thats one of the trade marks of 80's.

  • i love this song really...this is for you tom... i love you!

  • WAY BETTER THAN MILEY!

  • @TigerFn hands down way better than miley

  • SHE IS SOOOO GORGEOUS!!!

  • i love this song..i love tiffany shes beautiful and awesome....

  • I was 8 years old when this song came out and loved it. Now I'm an adult who has had her heart broken and this song strikes me even deeper than I ever thought possible. It's amazing when your childhood music rings true in adulthood.

  • What concert is this video taken from? Is there a video or DVD available of it - if any? Please if anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it - thanks!

  • Ok during those days debbie gibson was like lady gaga, fancy dresses n all.tifanny was simple but better, her songs were n are still true and her voice isnt annying like debbie's..nice era..i love the 80's.d best decade best songs and band..u have journey, bryan adams, foreigner, chicago, def leppard,u2,dire straits, guns n roses, aerosmith and lots lots more..classic songs u can listen even after decades..songs now are rubbish with no soul at all..who agrees?

  • @jzy0104 my gosh..i sooooooooooo AGREE!! im a fan of the 80's as well..grew up listening to those songs..thank God internet was invented..i could listen to them songs over and over.

  • @jzy0104 my gosh..i sooooooooooo AGREE!! im a fan of the 80's as well..grew up listening to those songs..thank God internet was invented..i could listen to them songs over and over.

  • @jzy0104 yeah of course tiffany is my favorite , always will be . Debbie WHO? Yeah lots of crap out today which I dont follow , but still like some young country and about one canadian rock band whatever

  • @jzy0104 I DO!!! Today's music is full of rubbish.. Who even thought of making the lyrics of today's songs.. Well some are good but most of the music that are produced today are just plain noise.. Go 80's I say!!!

  • @jzy0104 i;m 100% agree.....todays music is no sence at all.like justin bieber.

  • @jzy0104

I TOTALLY AGREE THE 80'S WILL FOREVER RULE!!!

  • @jzy0104 right on sisiter

  • @jzy0104 right on sister

  • @jzy0104 i agree..i'm just a toddler back then...but i like the 80's more

  • @jzy0104 yes, the 80's brought a plethora of authentic, timeless music. However to describe songs now as "rubbish" must come from an individual with a "rubbish" attitude. :-) and if u havent found any soul, the you're clearly not looking hard enough.

  • @jzy0104 I dont. I love so muh of the 80s that my friends ask me, whas this song, its good, im like, walk this way to the 80s club. But the Music has never gotten better or worse, just changed is all. In 50 years, families will be bitching about how great lady gaga was, she will just be the next fading madana. I like good music, not Eras.

  • @jzy0104 You hit it the music now just sucks

  • @jzy0104 Debbie Gibson like Lady Gaga ??? NO WAY !, I would say Lady Gaga a cheap imitation of Madonna

  • @jzy0104 I agree with what you said about the 80's being the best decade for music. But I have to disagree with your declaration that Debbie Gibson was like Lady Gaga from that era. Debbie; although slightly more flashy than Tiffany was still pretty conservative compared to others from that era. I would have to nominate Madonna as the Lady Gaga of the 80's. She was provocative, flashy, and very controversial. Oh, and underneath all those traits she could actually sing.

  • @jzy0104

I was a Tiffany fan too, but seriously, Debbie was wayyyyyyy better. Tiffany had 2.5 hits, I think We're Alone Now, Could've Been and I Saw Him Standing There was average.

Debbie Gibson had about 10 awesome songs, just off her first two albums!!!! She was heaps better.

  • @PJRABBITOH Amen!. (But I love Tiffany, too!!!)

  • @PJRABBITOH a) debbie sounds like a barbie doll and b) if debbie is the best then how come she hasnt released an album in ten years? Tiffany rolls out tune after tune!

  • @AzzarClarKyy95 Don't fight now :p Both are very good. That's how I put selections from both Tiffany and Debbie Gibson on the same tape

  • @jzy0104 Forever 80's!

  • @jzy0104 i concur!

  • 21 folks could've been playin' 'round, and, missed the like button. Billboard's 690th #1 hit of the rock era. God bless ya, Tiff! Hugs to ya!

  • damn this bitch has huge tits!!!! sub me

  • I love her. I always did.

  • @mikeferr107 ditto coach

  • Watch Tiffany live, present-day 2011 w/ The World's Ultimate Eighties Tribute Band RUBIX KUBE!! And witness history made while she shares the stage w/ Debbie Gibson for the first time ever!! click on 'rubixkubetube' username below . .

  • Debbie vs Tiffanny back then was like Britney vs Christina when they were on the top. But i would say Debbie and Tiffany are both awesome singers. Christina too... Britney... no comment.

  • Tiffany was the best! saw both in concert and let me say this what she sounds like in her videos is what she sounded like live. and compared to today's "artist" she was authentic!

  • hey question guys i recently seen her and debbie gibson online and im 18 i was wondering who was better because they said they where rivals

  • I love this song~ Her!!!

  • This takes me back to middle school.

  • Billboard's #8 hit of '88. Tiffany hit #1 pop, and, AC, in Billboard. God bless!

  • I wasn't a huge Tiffany fan, but I thought this song was quite good, and I'm surprised some country artist hasn't remade this into a #1 country record. My sister used to refer to this song as "that record by Tiffany about the flowers"...

  • Remember Tiffany so much, she was my love when i was a teenager,i believe she lives just up the road from me,.in a place called Cannock, she married an English guy from there.

  • I actually LIKED this Tiffany song. Unlike most of her other recleases, this one actually isn't fluff...

  • How I Meet Your Mother Brings me here

  • Procurei tanto essa musica e não encontrava...quem procura acha! kkk Quando eu tinha uns 13 anos gostava de ouvir....

  • haha wow she sure does conquer the whole london big time with the big ben in the video background lolz

  • I wonder if Deep Blue Something went to this woman's house for breakfast.

  • I love this song! I love you Tiffany

  • I remember calling into the radio station to play this song to my girlfriend at the time...And when they played it It was perfect for her to hear it. She Loved it.

  • Touching love song. To NML, I love you so much.

  • I had a dog who died, and I can't help but think of this sone. Makes me cry that the name was Tiffany and had bright red hair like bozo on stage. These days are lonely without the old 4 on the floor but they still linger. It's just the dog had a smile and no song of sorrow. I my dog was mans best friend not could have been on a cold n lonely night.

  • i love so much your song

  • I'd like to send a shout out and dedicate this song to my boy Henry Kissinger.

  • I don't care what anyone says, Debbie Gibson (while talented and pretty) can not hold a candle to Tiffany.

  • ganda grabe yan ang isa sa mga favorite

  • i can read people so well it scares me and them, but when i meet people that could have been some one but chose the wrong path this song always come to mind

  • I'm not one for tear jerkers, but for me this one works

  • I did 6 months of chemo last year and had a reaction that made my heart rate jump up to about 102 for the duration. That doesn't even hold a candle to what Tiffany still does to me after 23+ years! I'd like to say I appreciate her now more than ever, but she was and still is my biggest crush ever!

  • @garyque Are you saying she can change your heartbeat? ;o) (if you don't get it, watch the beginning of the "I Think We're Alone Now" video) She has the same effect on me.....

  • Perfect. No miming, no auto tune, that's how you do it. One of my favourite songs of all time.

  • OMG,, Tiffany my Tiffany how i miss you ..
