b-rah-voh. I'm best described as a rank beginner in the world of percussion, and am thus only beginning to understand real musical techniques (I'm a lure-ee from the dark world of Brass instruments, where they only think they know musical techniques). I had this suspicion fairly early on that a lot of percussion, especially set work and marching band drum line work was more show than actual insanity. It's good to see that I was not mistaken. Now time to practice those twirls.

To me, doing stick tricks is something that you should try if you basically have everything else down and can't think of anything else to do to make the performance more interesting. That's just my opinion.

No, he would destroy Luke Holland AND Adam Gray combined, those guys are more about tricks then skill, where Thomas is more about skill yet he still incorporates tricks. Thomas does NOT suck, seriously if you even think that, just turn off your computer and go drink some drain cleaner.
