@MrSabot88 i am against export of eurofighter and technology! EF is superiour and thats what counts. have fun with copied rafale from indian manufactors
Well yeah, the Eurofail is superiour. Whatever that means. But it is also inferior, for sure. It is crushed in air-air by the Rafale everytime they compete, plus it has very limited (almost inexistant) air-ground capabilities, it style has a mechanical radar array. Can't land on aircraft carriers, has a shorter range than Rafale, and it is the ugliest thing to have every been created on earth. Oh yes, and it's more expensive
@chenoir sure dude, i think you are on french drugs. The EF never ever lost against a rafale, keep your doped thoughts in your brain. The Eurofighter wasnt designed to land on a carrier because the member states dont even use carriers. It has very good air to ground capabilies, its a multi role aircraft. The EF2000 has won every mock dogfight he took part in. Of course its lower range because the engine has more thrust, the EF2000 is also much more agile then the rafale, even in high G
If it helps you sleep at night, you can believe whatever you want, not my problem, but one day you'll have to face the truth, this aircraft is crap.
Oh, and I didn't invent anything. About the air/air combat, it was in 2009 ine the UAE, for the ATLC, Rafale won 4-4 with equal weapon, 3-1 with downgraded weaponry (against standard weapons for the EF)
And about the A/G abilities of the EF, there was a report from the RAF that says they had to develop a new system to be able to drop AG weapons because the EF was not able to do it initially. So it costed them a lot of money to integrate a system to this aircraft that was not conceived for. With all problems due, compatiblity problems etc.
And it also cost 2 time more than the Rafale per flight hour (Rafale, 40000 euros with weapons, EF 74000 euros naked)
its an expensive aircraft, thats why india rejected it but it is a good one. I only saw good articles about its performance, the pilot were all impressed
@sharpanator i never saw any article about a rafale competiong against a EF2000. I dont believe your claim at all. The EF competet against a number of fighters in saudia arabia but not the rafale, look at the wiki article about the EF2000
@sharpanator u are indeed an imbecile! the EF was exported and offered with all its 2nd rate technology to Saudi n India n only the sauds bought it!
Be a kid n keep repeating EF is superior n u will soon start to believe ur own horse shit or BS! "copied rafale"??? What crap are u spewing on u silly idiot! I think u are a little kid with too much time on ur hands!
@MrSabot88 are you crazy or drunk? discuss normally! the EF was offered india lilke many other planes, including the F35. India decided for the Rafale because it was the cheaper offer and they had a tradition with french planes, it has absolutely nothing to do that the rafale is a better plane, you must be out of your mind or a child to think so. Yes the EF2000 is better then the rafale, its no wonder, its a multi national plane, expensive and sophisticated, great engines, super agile
Eurofail is getting beated on every board by the Rafale. It's almost unable to do ground attack, and on each exercise they did, the Rafale beat the EF. In the ATLC in 2009, 7-1 for the Rafale. Yeah, you got to be a child to believe the EF can even dream of competiting with the Rafale
Without mentioning the fact that the rafale exists in naval version, and the EF has the highest euro/hour of flight rate ever for a fighter (even higher than the F-22). 74000 euros.
@chenoir i dont believe your fanboy arguments at all!! again carrier version was not a goal! yes, expensive and sophisticated product cost money! therefore you get a great plane
Well, you may not believe them, that doesn't make them false.
And yes, EF cost money, but because it's badly conceived. I would even go further, an english EF pilot had piloted the Rafale, and he said "The classic definitions of aircraft combat roles really do not do justice to this aircraft; the Rafale is Europe's force-multiplying "war-fighter" par excellence. It is simply the best and most complete combat aircraft that I have ever flown...
@chenoir sure dude, and there are many pilots who say the same about the EF2000, its idiotic to believe the cheap rafale is better then multi nation sophisticated aircraft EF2000. I read only absolute positiv stuff about this plane, its just great
@sharpanator you know you're talking about classified information, right ? And that no matter how much you say that one is crappy and the other better is just some assumption of yours, because you have some sentimental attachement to it. Basing your accounts on lectures is well you know.. Do you think that them Air forces will choose an aircraft because they read it was great on the internet ?
...Its operational deployments speak for themselves. If I had to go into combat, on any mission, against anyone, I would, without question, choose the Rafale."
- Peter Collins, RAF Test Pilot
And I think he is more qualified to talk about this aircraft than you or me or any questionnable internet source like wikipedia.
Want a proof? The switzerland army judged both Gripen, Eurofighter and Rafale to equip their air force. It's only based on air/air capacities, as this is unlikely that Switzerland will ever drop a bomb on anyone. Anyway, based on several criteria, EF achieved a score of 6.54/10, Rafale 7.41/10. These scores are based on the futures evolutions of the aircraft, survivability, engagement capacities, range, etc... On each, the Rafale outclassed the Eurofighter.
Search for "ce qu'Eli Maurer a caché" on internet. Anyway, Switzerland congress choosed Gripen (but there is suspicion of manipulation from first congressman Eli Maurer, which may have hidden the military report which says that the Gripen was far from able to accomplish the mission they were buying it for, and was far inferior to both EF and Rafale, just to spare some money (they stated the Gripen was even inferior to the F/A-18 they already have)
Oh, it's even funnier, Swiss Air Force stated that the Rafale when tested in 2008 was better than the Eurofighter with all proposed improvements, and that on every aspect, Air police, Defense Counter Air, Offensive Counter Air, Recon, Ground Strike.

@chenoir I love both the Eurofighter and the Rafale. Why can't people just worship both machines? The Rafale is a combat ready aircraft, in service since nearly 11 and a half years. The Eurofighter is in service since 5 and a half years and still being software upgraded for its final combat readiness against ground targets and the use of upcoming weapon systems.
Just show respect to both machines because it will be up to them to defend Europe.
@sharpanator kiddo go to school and learn some English! Yes learn to say EF is a fucked up toy! Yes again, that was good! Now Fuck Off kid n play with your Ben10s'!
@MrSabot88 Yup its a good purchase .. currently worth 20 billion $s .. should cost every indian around 30$s per year in total defense expenditure [2.5% GDP on defense or around 35 billion$s ] .. easily affordable =] .. then we will start making our own .. thanks !
