here is a tip i am giving you u said that the jack in the box dont pop out cos u used paper why didnt u glue or celotape the head of the jack to the lid and when u open it his head will be stuck to the lid and it would look better i dunno u dont have to use what i said but i thought it would have been a great tip x

I'm really not sure. How about you decide which side length the box should have? Then multiply by 6 - that's the width of the paper you need to start with. The length of the paper is 12 times the side length of the box.

what do you mean by 2:1 paper???

Paper with a ratio of 2 by 1 is rectangular paper that is twice as long as wide. If you say that one side has 1 unit length, then the other side needs to have 2 units length. Hence the expression "1 by 2" (or "2 by 1").

I wouldn't call it a simple fold. On my scale from simple, low intermediate, intermediate, high intermediate, complex, super complex I'd rate it as a fold with intermediate complexity.

By practicing this fold fifty times or so, it'll become simpler and quite fun to fold in front of a kid as a prize.

(I LOVE the box with the surprise in it, and, despite not having instructions, I'm trying to figure it out.
