Nick is a dramatic example of karma. He most likely cut off someone's limbs in a previous lifetime or perhaps he ordered someone's limb's to be cut off as a punishment. His karmic consequence is now balanced and he has remebered his true spiritual nature. He is trying to help us all wake up to the truth about our existence as spiritual beings having human experiences. Thanks to Nick, we don't need to have his experience to learn this important truth.

Nick acknowledges that as a youngster, he wanted to end his life. What kind of torment he must have endured as a child! But, he didn't lean on his own understanding and handed his future over to God. That's why he gives the credit to his Creator. Because with God leading the way, Nick's earthly life has vision and purpose. Without God, he might have given up a long time ago.

Nick is a dramatic example of karma. He most likely cut off someone's limbs in a previous lifetime or perhaps he ordered someone's limb's to be cut off as a punishment. His karmic consequence is now balanced and he has remebered his true spiritual nature. He is trying to help us all wake up to the truth about our existence as spiritual beings having human experiences. Thanks to Nick, we don't need to have his experience to learn this important truth.

You're correct that religion has misled people and stopped the process for many people of seeking the truth. The truth about karma isn't so much an issue of deservability as it is of choosing life experiences for a purpose. I'm not suggesting that I know Nick's specific karmic debts.
