From Tim Price.....This is THE perfect piece to define jazz and bassoon fused together. FIRST...you need a bassoonist that_KNOWS_What jazz is. By that I mean- can SWING and phrase. No hiding behind that BS that your playing jazz on a bassoon. HENCE~ RAY PIZZI. His roots are there.
