I think it's a good trick if you like fucking with drunk people. that's why he said it works more after midnight.

I tried this yesterday at work, knowing my luck, the lime i threw, hit the lime that was wedged in the bottle, and they both fell out. It was quite embarrassing but luckily I was only trying to show a fellow employee while we were cleaning up and not a load of customers :P

Hey Chris...I love this trick and I do it often..but there is a better way of holding the bottle so that the customer sees the bottle and the lime at the same time. The trick is to hold the bottle by the neck and cupping it with your palm so that the top of the bottle is hidden under the palm. You just swing it around your back and then pretend to catch the lime and then pull it forward....I believe it presents it more clearly and more unbelievable to the customer.

great trick. I have my own lil variation.

i work in a bar w/high ceilings which helps in alot of ways but spcif. for this trick . When finishin up an L.I.T. take 2 lemons in one hand and launch the lemon as high as possible while bar guest is watching midair lemon you just take the other one and toss right in and have it on the bar b4 the other lemon even lands,9 times outta 10 its dark and are just thrown way off. not trying to hi-jack your video. Btw great tips for ALL beginning flairtenders.

I realized that when I reviewed the clip. Fortunately, the general noise and music will cover that sound. Also, if you work on mats, that usually helps, too. If you work in absolutely silent bar, you can try shouting "Come on!" or "Get it!" or whatever you want to cover the sound of the lime hitting the ground.
