  • 3:19 Totally nailed it. Tweedy gives me goosebumps.

  • Random words, lil clips of paper, put 'em in a hat (or bowl),start pulling them out, build your song. (They experimented alot w/this method during YHF,this song is the best example) CLASSIC song, CLASSIC lp.

  • there is always some A-hole who has to scream during acoustic songs

  • anybody know what the third chord in the chord progression is? it sounds diminished or something.

  • @PissGeneration it goes A - Em - D generally

the diminished thing you probably hear is him playing D7 -> D6 at the end of the progression

  • @PissGeneration Since the capo is on the second fret, the chords are actually B major (open A chord form), to F# minor (open E minor form), to E7 (open D7 form). Numerically, that is I - v minor - IV7 ... you are right about hearing the diminished sound because the IV7 chord contains a tritone (diminished 5th).

  • @sysphus13 hey, do you know the strum pattern for this? I cant tell so much when those idiots scream/over his voice.

    thanks--

  • quite a quiet domino*

  • Jeff Tweedy's lyrics are insanely great.

  • Thanks for this.

  • that would be so hard to play while the whole audience is clapping off beat

  • Tweedy's gonna be at foelinger again in Janurary.

  • best!

  • brendan IS cool!!!

    made me smile.
