The time to believe in a god is when evidence of god is presented, not when you offer an anecdote (which by the way, is factually wrong) about something in your religious scripture being an observation of something. The moon orbits the earth and the earth orbits the sun, while the sun is relatively fixed (though orbiting the galactic central point).

However, the miraculous fact is that one verse says "And Sun runs towards its fixed course" which points to its galactic orbit and secondly, the verse says "everything is in an orbit" which again is correct with modern understanding. In the last 100 years, most of da Islamic parts of da world wer under occupation by various other countries (Including England, France & Spain) which used these countries as colonies (for cash!) The time to believe in a god is when evidence of god is presented, not when you offer an anecdote (which by the way, is factually wrong) about something in your religious scripture being an observation of something. The Sun doesn't ever over take the moon...and the moon never over takes the sun. The moon orbits the earth and the earth orbits the sun, while the sun is relatively fixed (though orbiting the galactic central point).

Anyone who lives long enough will inevitably make predictions based on patterns they've experienced, such as the appearance of the moon always moving across the sky faster than the sun. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to make that kind of observation. No atheists are denying the muhamed was a scholar, and it may be fair to say he was extremely intelligent for someone in his time....but that says NOTHING about the existence of a god.

okay, in the quran, it mentions the stages the sperm and the egg go through to make the fetus. How it goes from the fertilisation stage to being like a chewing substance, then the bones r created, then it gets coverd with flesh and all that complex process. U gona tell me they had telescopes back in those days!! You don't need a telescope or any sort of special instrumentation to look at an aborted/miscarried fetus, and logging the characteristics of an aborted/miscarried fetus at each stage of development. Your "divine knowledge" is no more divine than any other naturalist of the period. What's more is, he was actually wrong with regards to this subject. Don't use that example again or you will look silly.

Well the overtaking of sun and moon referred is from an observational point of view. However, the miraculous fact is that one verse says "And Sun runs towards its fixed course" which points to its galactic orbit and secondly, the verse says "everything is in an orbit" which again is correct with modern understanding. The greatest sign is the first verse in video which is clearly depicting creation of universe by big bang.

Even the rearrangement of things into planets, etc, can be explained by the energetics of atoms, momentum, gravity. None of this needs a creator. And before we get into, "who made the laws by which this happens?" No one. These things happen because it's the nature of relity. If they happened in a different way, things would be different, and I wouldn't be typing this.

The idea of a creator is one which states these things were brought into existence ex nihilo (out of nothing), when, in truth, as intrinsic parts of the fabric of reality, they simply exist. No creator is necessary.

Yes this is true. Both religious & secular governments (non-religious) make laws by consensus, that is to the consentual approval of the abiding people. both have punishments for infraction. People are generally obedient to both forms of regulation. The main difference I see is that religion imposes restrictions on freedoms that I cherish. If a scientific discovery contradicts the mythology of the faith, how is this resolved? Secular laws, (which I obey), entail no such mythology to contradict.

I read the quotes that are supposed to be the examples of science, and the quotes I read (especially the ones listed in the video: Q21:30, Q51:47, Q67:1, Q31:11, Q36:38, Q36:40, Q52:v35-36, Q13:2, Q67:3-4, Q3:190). By laws of reason, I only need to read the versus that are CLAIMED to contain science. False claims of credit are the same level of morality as stealing.
