Strip Searches & Cellphone-Stealing Taxi Drivers

I dont understand. Why did the taxi driver return you your cellphone even though he obviously wanted to steal it? What did the management tell him? He could have denied having your cellphone.

You live in texas but why do you speak fluent chinese?

But I'll just tell you that in ONE WEEKEND, I broke my cell phone in half, got a speeding ticket, was in a wedding where they accidentally sat me at the kids table, one of the kids took a lick out of my desert as a prank, I NEVER....got my entree', and my flights were canxed for 18hrs in the airport.

Here in Holland, they can come up to you and suspect you of carrying some thing an strip-search you on the spot... o_O

And if they start being all annopying an stuff and ask for you ID(which you have to have with you from your' 14th here) and you dont have it with you you get a huge fine! O_O

? That wouldn't happen over here. Firstly they'd check CCTV. Did they speak to you in Chinese or English? I can imagine it being much harder to speak Chinese if you haven't got a clue what's going on. I can understand the mobile phone rule. Some people could text other people to provide alibis for them but what they did to you was rather wank! Also pretty mellow dramatic for a wallet!

I did talk about video cameras in the original version but I had to cut it because my vid was 14 minutes long. Basically they had TWO video cameras in the store and they threatened us saying, "we have videotapes, if you stole we have proof" and me and my friend were like, "mmkay, go look at the tapes!" then they were like, "...yeahh okay, the video cameras are broken. we dont have tapes."

There was this also one part of the story I had to edit out because my vid was 14 minutes, but because me and my friend kept falling in and out of sleep, when I was awake I caught him driving in circles...like literally doing laps on a straight street and when I got home, the taxifare was 200 kuai. HE SHOULD GET FIRED. Rawr.
