im going to breed my girl mini lop with a champion buck but i want to make sure she dosent get hurt or anything i want it to go very well can u have some tips??
They are lovely bunnies, why dont you sell some of them to nice forever homes? Ya know, the ones you wont eat, i dont eat rabbit but i can see you have loads, maybe you could make a bit more of a profit out of this little breeding programme.
@199dwayne First they have to be old enough which is at least 8 months for large breed rabbits. Next you put them in with the buck if she lifts for him she will be bred if not she wont. Rabbits dont go into "heat". They become fertile with the act of breeding. Rabbits can be re-bred almost right after giving birth but I dont recommend it. I try to wait for about 2 weeks after weening the last litter.
@KainanRa ohh okay cause mine are just 1 month old and i dont know what to feed them.someone said that i should not feed them leafy plants yet..is that true?

@survivorapocalypse Not sure yet. I think rabbits can breed for several years. Once litter sizes start to decrease I will retire the doe.
