Believe it or not, this was a remake of "Nothing Sacred" (1937), with Jerry in Carole Lombard's role of "Hazel Flagg" {"Homer", in this version}; Dean in Charles Winninger's part; and Janet Leigh as Fredric March's "news hound".
I love the version of "Every Street's A Boulevard" that Martin and Lewis did on the Colgate Comedy Hour. It has more of an easy-going, swing/blues feel
Thanks so much for posting this movie. I loved this as a kid, I knew the entire screenplay off by heart! This is one of the best trips down memory lane I've had for a long time.
YUMMY! Jerry is one of the most handsome and talented men in history. Now to see him conduct an orchestra shirtless and I will die a happy woman.
