this woman knows shit about cheapness...... when I was in Venice the cheapest way to be transported around is with the waterbus VAPORETO 10E for a day not some rented boat. Never buy anything in Venice, except souvenirs... I bought all the food in neighbor cities in LIDL or other supermarkets. I was not in a gondola, it offers to little for 150 euros an hour. And she forgot to mention all the churches, museums and cultural heritage of Venice..... bad.

BEWARE OF THE SMELL! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I am originally from Paciano Umbria of Italy and when I go back every summer to see family, we usually go over to Venice. It is gorgeuos but the smell is absolutely terrible. They do not have proper plumbing and human waste is in the water. I love it besides the smell.

@ghosthelper100 - what you taking about.....the smell is caused by the alghes, and not always. It happnes now and then that those damn alghes are rotting in the canals. However, I have been so many times in Venice and I never had any problem with smell.

Nice video. Been to Venice twice, but never thought about renting a boat. That's a very nice idea. Plus quite cheap Gondola ride. Fantastic. Only one thing I would like to change in Venice is those crowds of tourists, though i am one of them.. :) Somehow the less people you see in some part of the city, more magical and fantastic it appears to be.

Anyway, one of the most brilliant city's i have ever been to. I am sure to come back there again and again and..
