  • I like it very cool and down to earth and perfect for everyday carry

  • good kit dude. I like the keeping it simple style. This is exactly like my tin.

  • Good

    I jus

  • another useless crap added to your weight, maybe the med wipes and lighter, but the rest is crap

  • @Oxidized181 dude stfu

  • 'The SD Classic is good, but I like the Rambler better.

  • Just watched your vid., if you take the pills and wrap them in the self sticking plastic wrap, or vacuum seal them(I haven't tried this yet), you can then tape them to the inside walls of the tin. I have a weeks worth of my meds, and 6-8 ibu pills, and some some basic allergy meds. There is lots of space that is just not utilized well.

  • @TheCWR2010 I'm trying to find some of the little 1" zip-loc bags and I'll get rid of the pill bottle altogether.

  • Never use a disposable lighter for survival. Always use matches!

  • Any tips for water proofing the tin? I have several Altoid tins, and I was thinking of making a few kits, and maybe even a wallet.

  • i made a survival can as well, just for fun, but i guess ill take it when ever i go hiking or whatever, never know. dont forget to take a satelite phone, lol

  • I use an Altoid tin for my pot, bowl, papers a few cigaretts one clean needle and a condom or two.

  • who doesnt like knives?

  • More of an Urban PSK. Great vid.

  • You're right, very much an EDC, but not really a mini survival tin is it? Not going to get you through those critical 72hrs. As long as it suits you, then who can talk, but I would suggest slightly modding it to encompass more serious scenarios, good luck.

  • @bikenutter1 Good point. I have other kits for more serious issues.

  • I made a similar system but my tin too big so all its got is: A firesteel, cotton balls soaked in petroleum jelly, matches, linen cloth and a lighter.

  • just a suggestion on carrying pills. At your local drug store you can buy a package of small zip lock bags which are made for older people who need to carry collection of pills. I use these in mine and as holding small items in my edc.

  • and you cant go a day without sewing something? waste of room

  • Awesome Man!

  • @ViTaLvViRuZz Thanks for watching!

  • i need one of those pill things but a bit bigger were can i get it

  • @OGKILLa9365 I'm not sure. EDCdepot(dot)com has a selection, but they are a little different.

  • @GunsKnivesSurvival

You can get real good metal vials for medicine at the bepreparedtosurvive website they specialize in all things survival

  • @1969jmac Cool. Thanks!

  • i liked it so far. i will check the update. mainly i liked your philosophy on the edc tin

  • If you want a tin maybe a tobacco tin ? You can get blank ones or a nice design of you choice I don't smock ( like you ) but its a good size

  • How bout a torch?

  • @SuperDudemovietv1101 Check out the update video. I'm adding one.

  • Survival at the office lol

  • dealextreme(dot)com/search/waterproof+pill

  • This makes good sense as an "urban" EDC, all the little daily troubles. I would put together something different for rural or survival. This would be great in a desk drawer or glove box.

  • Finally someone feels the way I do about a survival tin.

  • @GunsKnivesSurvival Hey, good video. I was wondering, where did you get that metal canister with the screw-on top? I may be able to use one of those.

  • @GenerationMilitaires Thanks! It's been a long time since I got this, but I think you can get one at Walmart in the section where they make keys. Another good source is EDCdepot(dot)com. They give way a similar item with every order.

  • @GunsKnivesSurvival No problem, and thanks very much for the information. Keep up the good work!

  • @GenerationMilitaires I bought one in Rite Aid.

  • Very good for your average days needs. People this is for something you will use in every day life not for surviving the wilderness with nothing except this pack.

  • does anyone think that the classic could be replaced with a minichamp? its the same sort of size, just thicker.

  • @capetownlad300 I'll have to take a look at that one.

  • he would still be alive if he only had a sewing kit. dam when will people learn.

  • @collectorbob810 Thanks. This kit is intended for surviving the rigors of every day life, not for playing Survivorman for a month. I'd bring a LOT more than an Altoids tin for that.

  • Gotta start somewhere

  • this video is crap

  • nice, aspirin and benadryl are good to have on hand. I keep a couple Bayer single dose packs rolled up in my own edc.

  • @fargon187gmailcom This has been very useful...

  • Perfect for that space. I miss the wistle and the light, problay when you´ll find a smaller container for the pills! Regards from Spain

  • @jcm060 Thanks for watching and taking the time to post a comment.

  • very cool and down to the point bro thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ascorpio09 Thank you!

  • if you get cut a lot then dont play with knifes

  • @13FravelJ It's tottaly worth it for me.

  • wrap the asprin in tinfoil

  • @55210ht I've got it in a little ziplock bag now. Seems to work OK.

  • Is it waterproof?

    -Omar

  • @airsoftgunsandknives No, but that's not a bad idea.

  • what was that website in the beginning of the video

  • @f16falcon9 countycomm(dot)com

  • Nice kit. But i like keychains for that kind of thing.

  • @Daninja42 The main thing for me is the medical supplies. I find myself using this all the time. I have an EDC keychain video as well. Thanks for watching.

  • I wouldnt put paper on the bottom of the Tin as you cant use it to boil water anymore...though I have never tried to use the tin on a flame and maybe I shouldnt lol...

  • @MegaPokerMon This isn't intended for that kind of thing.

  • @GunsKnivesSurvival not intended use shouldnt be in your vocabulary lol...If im desperate Im sticking a piece of tinfoil underneath that tin and trying to boil water after the purification tabs run out. Then again maybe I will die of some sort of metal toxins in the water and you are right...never can tell til you try.

  • @MegaPokerMon Right on. In my actual pack that I take for outdoor adventure, I keep a small metal mess set. This is just for taking to work, etc. Take care.

  • @GunsKnivesSurvival but then again maybe its better to just make a pot out of tinfoil...

  • What about toilet paper if u have to take a dump ur screwed

  • @Mom4477 That might not fit in the tin.... :)

  • This is TRUE EDC

  • @AltairDhauglu I really do take this just about everywhere I go. It's also important to restock the itmes as you use them so you don't run out of bandages or medications. Thanks for watching!

  • does anyone know if county comm now ships to ireland? because paypal gives me the option to ship here?

  • I like knives....I tend to get cut alot.

  • i'll buy it

  • @megalizardfreak I thought about doing a contest where I give one away, but without the lighter and medicine (I wouldn't ship those, obviously) it might be kind of lame. I'm glad you like it, I had to use it last night when I cut myself with my Cold Steel Recon 1.

  • @GunsKnivesSurvival the contest would be awesome

  • you could use a little ziplock bag for the aspirin

  • @anotheraccount420 I do now, but I keep it in the pill bottle. It helps me separate the aspirin from other medication. Take care.

  • u sound really bored

  • @ANDYKilla1 Not at all. I normally speak really fast, so I'm trying to compensate for that on the video.

  • you may have already found a better idea for your aspirin but, my wife buys beads in small 6 inch tube. They can be cut down to any size, are light weight and water tight.

  • @woodturningjohn That's a good idea. I've been using a "spy capsule" from EDCdept(dot)com. It's perfect for this kind of thing. I have a video on it. Thanks!

  • @GunsKnivesSurvival isn't that the thing that the soe carried their l-pill in?

  • Very nice E.D.C kit thanks for sharing

  • Nice EDC kit

  • I like ur kit. I made one of edc items also. I'd never use snare wire or trash bags for tents etc... That's what a b.o.b is for. Great vid.

  • @PACER2320 Hey thanks!

  • I use a small craft baggy for my aspirin. You can get them at most craft stores and WalMart

  • @ihoppy I actually started doing that with my aspirin INSIDE the little silver pill bottle to segregate two different kinds of pills. Thanks for the comment.

  • this one may not have many views but it is probaly the best tin and best quility camera work ive seen

  • @pleasmod Thanks, I really appreciate it!

  • Wow, this video is actually very well made.

Also, nice EDC tin, keep it up.

  • @Cwalzyful Thank you very much.
