He doesn't necessarily seem dumb to me. He just seems reluctant to engage with the very superficial nature of the interview, and isn't that comfortable in front of the camera. Nerves can make anyone inarticulate, and I think it's a bit rash to start calling him stupid. Anyway, hope he comes to Liverpool.
