Well, it's one octave higher too... I really screwed it up.

And yeah, I was actually wondering how the original sounded. At the time I recorded I had only heard the rip-off version of Doom. Gotta say, it's beautiful.

How did you do it?

Well, basically I have one of those good-for-all-surfaces webcam, where you have a thing you can adjust for the thickness of the screen you're attaching it to.

In this case, that "thingie" is locked on the tuning pegs, with the webcam itself resting on the strings after fret 0.

(or you can just use tape, but I am pretty sure that'll leave a mark on the headstock, so you might want to consider rope)
