Coldplay and Radiohead are two different personalities. Coldplay is fun, social, and friendly, And we all know Radiohead is the artsy, grumpy type; they are very private. Its also part of how they market their bands, and who they are as people. Neither one was wrong in their action. @jun23ify Coldplay are unoriginal. They have small similarities to Radiohead, but that is because they copied them. To be honest their music is repetitive, they 'sold out', their music is so unidentified and mainstream you could play the same song at a wedding and a funeral. By trying to please everyone their music now blends into the background, and is really no different than music by any mainstream artist. Call them pop, but you can no longer call them rock.

I'm not entirely sure that miley cyrus will understand why radiohead declined. I'm happy that they did though. She doesn't know how devoted radiohead fans are, and why we are so devoted, radiohead produces intelligent, thought-provoking, eye-opening, deep, meaningful music, because they believe in something; while she's kinda lacking in that area, which I think is the most important piece of art.
