  • Great video. I had the pleasure of seeing them three times in the 80's...as great as the Stones at that time

  • woooo!

  • Ian and MIck were the best....love em both...rip mick

  • ian hunter is probably the only person cooler than lou reed. and for me that's saying a lot. ROCK N ROLL!

  • man, I miss Mick Ronson and his Les Paul Custom...

these guys were the coolest ever

  • There used to be another live performance of this on youtube. It was at some kinda beat club like this, but it was a little bigger, more American Bandstand type. As good as this one is, there is a better performance. I wish I could find it again so I could somehow save it. Will whoever posted it please put it back up? I'll keep checking.

  • "mama little baby likes it short and sweet.."..

  • His 1966 guitar is up for auction, one of them at least. It was a fender electric X11, 12 string. Look on guitarhangar

  • That guitar looks like an Ibanez style. Years 64-87 those came to the UK in style but I doubt that is an Ibanez. Have not seen this version for the video. It's great, not so stiff like the other video versions. Looks like more hand held camera work which is better

  • can anyone identify that guitar

  • Mick FUCKING Ronson!!!!

  • Love this! I saw this tour in SF one of my all time favorite shows!

  • Thanks for that highly intellligent response. You are clearly a person (I won't say gentleman of discernment because it would be a lie) of 8th grade intelligence. Good luck with your next 4 years at school. You'll need ii.

  • Saw Mott in small venues around England in the very early '70s. Overend drove a Bond Bug. Can any of you bright chaps remember what that looked liked?

    Pie.

  • @pienivla - my dear rocker babe! I wish we could have seen the shows together. Ariel Bender tried to drag me on stage when they Played Boston...

  • @pienivla Overend drove a bond bug? Good grief, i'd have liked to see him being folded into that after a gig.... Saw them at hammersmith lAST YEAR... AH JOY. IAN'S STILL GIGGING.. MORE JOY!!

  • great live take - I never saw Ian Hunter play that cool lookin' guitar in person - a killer classic rock tune... god I loved Mott... they were amazing live... thx for posting

  • How have i missed this video !!!?

    thanks Edda mate !

  • Great, and i saw Hunter many, many years ago in the modern home of rock, England, with Mott. But I still think Great White's version is better. Rock fans will always disagree. That is part of the fun. Is Clappo better than Page or Knopfler? Is Moon better than Watts or Ginger Baker or Stewartland Copeland?

  • @pienivla 'great' white sucks major league ass. period. always did and always will.

  • They look like they were having a ball! Loved Ian and Mick together. RIP Mick and rock on in the next world. Keep on rocking, Ian!

  • Had this record once apon a time. I would crank this up!!!!!

  • Great post, Gotta find this to buy!

  • Thanks for many years Ian!
