  • That's not so much motocross as it is a grass track special test for an Enduro. They had the 30th anniversary of the first six-Day Enduro held in the US in Dalton Ma. a few years ago. They had a grass track special test set up similar to this. Grass tracks are an art in themselves and require their own special skills. If you want to see a natural terrain track, check out Unadilla in upstate NY. That's a great natural terrain track and typical of what you would see in Europe.

  • Fantastic.

I always felt that motocross went down the tubes in 1978 after the "promoters" got involved and started making huge jumps - all for the paying spectators. They should have changed the name of the sport at that point to "monstercross" and left the definition of motocross to tracks that follow the natural terrain.

Before 1978 I think there were only a few deaths from the sport worldwide since its inception. How many people have been killed since? Lots. Thank the promoters.
