  • @GaltLineWorkers no worries, you take as long as you want, thanks for stopping by

  • OMIGOD HOW CAN YOU BREATH IN SP-oh, I see, it's a map. Awesome instrument. You ever seen one of Stompin' Tom's stomping boards? He'll stomp a hole all the way through in no time.

  • @mctrmt stomping tom sounds awesome, i will check him out after i have looked at jumping jack , spinny jenny and puffing billy

  • As a lapsed catholic my sense of rhythm paste is not what it used to be!

    Great improv

  • @StubyStubyDoo improv???? this was the 74th first take

  • Rhythm? I have a hard time even spelling that.

I was just thinking about something similar a few days ago, as I'm always slapping my feet on the floor, but night slippers don't have much percussive oomph to them. Time to hit the toolbox.

  • @uke5417 me too rithum reethum if you are south of the border

  • that is very cool mr. K!

  • @russbuss415 cheers Russ, congrats on the mainland

  • Damn, sense of rhythm needed, that rules me out!

  • @DouglasFrink cheers. thanks for stopping by

  • Real cool!

  • @mjs004 thanks cheers

  • You obviously go to great lengths to test the durability of your instruments, but the head on collision seems a bit excessive. Maybe just bang it with a hammer next time. Glad you are still here to stamp!

  • @thelonecheeto hammer it is Don

  • I want a stampbourine brilliant instrument.

  • @Rutle everybody needs one

  • I've missed you Krabbers. Good to have you back :)

  • @revdrjim it was owned by an old guy who used to be in a country band in nashville, cost a pretty penny back in the day

  • Stomptastic. Take care on re-entry, don't come in too steep.

  • @YoppyKyabetsu thanks for the advice yopp

  • I guess my plastic modern tamb' wouldn't last very long with that treatment

    Les

  • @TheBeestoncowboy well the platsic one i have is probably stronger than this old wooded one, might have more bounce too

  • I like it, Thats two diy projects for me now 1) a Diddly Bow and now a Stamperene

Great Job krabbers sounds great and looks good... Keep on Stampin Buddy :)

  • @cokedan72 cheers Dan

  • Top Man!!! I've see & heard this instrument on a few occasions. And played by you, it gives a real addition to any performance. Good rhythm!!!!

  • @royster301 cheers Roy

  • LOVE the shirt... and the stampourine!

  • @Wundermuyy thanks Bill, it was owned by an old guy over here who used to be in a propper country band in nashville TN ,he had a few but this one looked like the sort of thing evil knevil would wear, i couldnt resist it, its dry clean only tho, which is a pain in the backside and the wallet

  • FAN-bloody-tastic!!!!

  • @ZabbyLand thank bloody you ....cheers

  • nice shirt lol

  • @alex103092 thanks i am wearing it for a bet

  • @krabbers nice lol

  • Good sounds!

  • @teteroom thanks for stopping by tete

  • if you attach ribbon to it does it become a stampbrel. Brilliantly brilliant. And actually it sounds exactly like that!!! nice!

  • @kennymelodica if i tied a ribbon i might be going over to the morris dancer darkside

  • "Don't panic, I'm not in space. It's just a big map." Haha, I love your humor, and the Stampbourine!

  • @CapnTac i get told i talk too fast , i think a lot of people missed that joke lol, cheers

  • Top notch work. I'm off to take a hacksaw to my tambourine...

  • @Sheepstar15thanks Anna , the reason i put the wood in the middle was to stop my foot going thru the hole, i added the plate as an afterthought and its a momento of a car crash i walked away from

  • Excellent....an inspired percussive addition...might have to try something like that myself

  • @despairtonohair i use it in my skiffle band, it keeps everyone together , cheers for the comment

  • @krabbers I enjoy a bit of skiffle myself...recently been catching up on this sound...it's overdue a revival surely?

  • percussioning????? thats not even a word. is it?

  • @krabbers

    dunno lol

  • Oh no- come down from there....oh phew.

Excellent invention btw, you should patent it !

All you need is a good sense of rhythm eh ? That is easier said than done I think- you have a natural talent for it, I have problems doing 2 things at once- i.e. playing and singing, let alone percussioning as well.

  • Top instrument! The best are the boots :-)

  • @JuKeBox661 i agree, the thing dont work with bare feet , if you are gonna stomp you gotta do it with a bit of steel toe style

  • Okay ... why didn't you put this video online BEFORE I recorded Passanger? LOL

  • @thakoh . for some reason it took hours to load up. i think everybody s video was up before this one .

    thanks for stopping by

  • Gonna make me one of them there stampbourines.

  • @ukedaman excellent. i got the bells off of some baby rattles i found , and i just zip tied them to the side

    more shake rattle and stomp

  • So Inventive Krabbs Awesome and i really thought you were in space lol

  • @nidgetucker yeah i thought i had better maker it clear

  • This is awesome! I want one, I need one, I've got to have one. Sounds a lot better than stompin' 'round on a normal tambourine.

  • @floydbluethereal i use it when i play live. but it does need a little bit of carpet under it to give it bounce, on hard floor it is quieter

  • @krabbers Isn't it normal to perform on a carpet? ;) Thanks for the tip.
