@HaloKiller1166 if its your first tank, i wouldnt recommend it. mandarins from what I understand are incredibly hard to keep because its hard to get them to eat.

what else will a mandarin goby eat beside pods? i heard they eat brine shrimp is that true?

Sometimes, if they're weaned onto it they could. My scooter dragonet wont even eat the pods I put in anymore, he takes my clownfish's mysis instead. I'm going to get a female mandarin so she can eat the pods and maybe I can wean her on mysis too :)

Males have a elongated dorsal fin. Females are rounder.
