My CD-Drive does not work, so i ripped the ISO file myself. i copied it to this computer and mounted this ISO onto daemon tools. It worked and installed but when i try to play it, it says the hAlo cd could not be found. Any Help?

@frogsta360 Try activating secure disk and other options in your virtual drive. If that doesnt work, youre gonna need to find a crack NOCD file and replace the one in your computer with it for you to play. Downside is that cracked games get no multiplayer.

@dragonmasterernesto it has safedisc and secuROM but no securedisc. i activated both and yet halo does not work. I mainly bought it for the multiplayer, is there such thing as an external CD drive (usb or somewhat) that i could use???????????

@frogsta360 You're suppose to activate them BEFORE you begin installing Halo.... Maybe I should've specified it in the vid... Anyway, you can buy an external enclosure for a CD/DVD drive, or buy an external CD/DVD drive. Both are USB, and they will read the game just fine

@Ozkar1557 If youre using Daemon Tools, you have to open up the settings and make sure securedisk, seucrom, and safe disk are checked. I can't really help you with anything else

did you make sure the registry was cleared of halo too? Download Your Uninstaller, and uninstall halo. that program should be able to clear the registry for you.

This usually happens when either, a few options on your daemon tools is turned off, or you need to find a patch to cover the no CD thing

sir! i got it but i used it on a program setup, and then when i did i wanted to delete that setup but eachtime i try it sais (it is bieng used on another person on the program) eventhough i closed Daemon tools

you just need to enter into the task manager(Ctrl+Alt+Del) and then into processes then look for anything that has to do with daemon tools and hit end process. It should be fine afterward, or restart, or unmount the image.

the secopnd file is the MINI, in the torrent I got mine from, Halo came with an ISO and a MINI along with custom edition setup. Just find the one with both MINI and ISO to make it work.

ive never had that error before, what are you running, XP? if so make sure you have your computer fully updated, and also, make sure you have the halo.mds, halo MINI and halo ISO. those are the 3 i use to run halo.

yes you can. i had an invalid one, my m8 fixed it somehow. you just need to plant some kind of mini image in place of the version you have, i.e: 1.4 instead of 1.7. really it works, swear on my life.

where did you get your download? i got mine off of a torrent, and it works well, plus it flat out gives you the ISO and MDS files. try looking for it on google. "halo iso torrent download" is how i found mine.

Theres a special patch 1.07 that lets you play multiplayer with an invalid key. You just need to try and find hard enough. I havnt found it.

Yes, if your using the lite, try to get the regular version, if your using the regular, then downgrade to an earlyer version.
