My cat and birds are rescue animals. When my cat passes on eventually (she is 20) I want to get a rescue dog. This was an adorable video and your love for the animals is so apparent! Good work, and I literally laughed out loud when the "Muppet show" music came on!

Beautiful. In 1996 I rescued a street dog. It took me weeks of leaving him steak leftovers before he trusted me enough to let me touch him. He and my family had many, many happy years together. He died of cancer last year. We called him Tramp.

If everyone cared about dogs like you do, there would be no such thing as shelters. I have adopted 2 dogs, one last year and one 13 years ago. I love dogs and all animals. I adopted two ferrets too.

When you adopt a dog from a foster home, you're giving your money to people who actually go out of their way to care for animals. THOSE are the people who should be getting the money, not the mills. Also, a person who fosters dogs will be able to tell you a LOT about your new pet. Pet stores have no idea. ENCOURAGE anyone considering a dog to go adopt. Dogs don't need pedigrees to give love or have talent. Don't overlook shelters either, dammit.

The reaction of these sweet, innocent animals to love and attention is so touching it moves one to tears. You wonder how they ended up in the streets in the first place.
