  • ive never ran mine in just took it slow through the tanks then upped the throttle so its ok thanks man

  • It worked thanx alot :)

  • hey my nitro rc turns on good but when i accelerate into mid/high speed it turns off or wants too shut off wat can be wrong with it???

  • @SanchezBoss209 Sounds like its running too lean (its being starved of fuel at high speed) try running it a little rich. If this doesn't work you could up the fuel % although I wouldn't recommend going higher than 25%. The extra nitro can help cool the engine.

  • Will

  • Thanks for the video bro!!!

  • @Bynum4life you're welcome :)

  • WTF is "bacics"

  • That was very helpfull thanks man

  • thanks man

  • Thanks, that actually mad complete sence, its souded easyer, most ppl just say that it increases an decreses but u made it very clear an easy, thanks you hepled alot

  • @lilsk0ob19 Thanks!

  • pendejo

  • you should clean your rc car :9 that help something

  • u sound high

  • ITS MICK MCCARTHY !!!!

  • Hey. When i turn on my car, it just goes and i'm not even touching the controller and the controller doesn't work. Reply much appreciated. Thanks

  • @COOLGUY4593 sounds like there's a problem with your radio system. remember you should always turn the radio on before the car. if your running a 27mhz radio check that the receiver and controller both have the same crystals in. if running 2.4ghz you may have to reprogram the connection (check manual) another thing it could be is that you do not have the trims set properly e.g you have neutral on the controller set to max throttle on the receiver. that sounds like the most likely problem.

  • @COOLGUY4593 ok i had this same problem i there might be a trim on your controler lower it and it will slow down turn it up it will move with out u doing anything. i dont know if this is gonig to help=s

  • yeahhh i have excactly the same engine but in a gv models rex-x buggy :D

  • .25ci=4.17cc

  • im running a 40 but its a plane so theres a bit of a difference lol

  • @7guitarihave They work on the same principal, they just have smaller cooling heads and different exhaust systems, obviously theres no clutch or anything.

  • @gmodertom yeah right on the mark, the position of the needles on the carburetter are different too XD

  • clean ur fuckin car jeez

  • agh my Hunters pullstart recoil spring snapped..

what size is the engine? i have no clue, im trying to find a new pull start, or drill start but i dont know the size of the back plate i need to get.. any help? D:

  • @MrBmxg The engine in a .25, most backplates fit any engine I think. its a sort of universal fitting. (correct me if im wrong) it may differ from manufacturers but I used the Hong Nor pullstart on my Hunter. I wouldn't recommended the drill start, it eats battery up like mad. if its a cold day and your car wont start and the battery runs out.... so if you get the drill start you will need at least 3 spare batterys. it works out cheaper just to buy pullstarts.

  • @gmodertom thanks :) i was thinking of a started box? yes or no? if its the same kind of problem as the drill start then ill go for the pull start. It seems though that the started boxes dont come with battery packs which is costly.

  • @MrBmxg Yes a starter box is probably the best option if you dont want a pull start. but as you said it will require a small 12v car battery or 2xNi-Mi packs at a time so it would be even more costly than the drill start. if you have the money then go for a starter box and a small 12v battery.

  • MY ENDGIN IS GEGING RAILY HOT AND WEN THE CAR IS STARTED IT JUST WANTS TO GO HOW COME

  • @tigger00025 sounds like you have the idle set too high, or you could have the trim set too high on your transmitter.

  • @gmodertom i have messed with trim transmitter.

but still same and i dearnt bess with theotehr screws as the car is secand hand so oveasky no maual and i dont no what the shop setigns are or i wood just set them to that then go from them i have done what u menshoned in one of ya vids and set the screw flush if get me

  • @tigger00025 try and find out what engine it is and search for the base settings. sounds like its idling too high which is either the idle screw or the High speed needle.

  • @gmodertom ye thats what im trying to fined out but dotn say any think on it all i no si it is an 18

  • I used to have a piko .15 in my traxxas t-max! I miss that thing!

  • Haha. That is not a screwdriver. It is a scraper for doing foil pictures. How odd that you use one of those for a screwdriver. No offence mate. Im right though arent i?

  • @leeescott yes! I didnt film it where I normally fix my cars so it was the only thing I had to hand :)

  • nice cars

  • u know shit about nitro cars

  • Can some one help me? i have the same engine ,but when i pull the pull start fuel comes out the cylinder, i have tightened the screws very tight but fuel still comes out.

  • your cars a mess

  • dude clean your ride

  • What about the low speed needle?

Its the screw underneath where the servo connects to the carb

  • @popcornreviews yes, this controls the acceleration or the low to mid range of the engine, this is adjusted in the same way as high speed, if acceleration feel slugish lean it out if its too quick and overheats richen it :)

  • this has help me alot thanks do you race your car and if so where at please reply to me

  • @876904 glad it has :) and no i dont race my car at the moment the nearest club to me is an electric only :( and my nitro car isnt a race tuned one they have to have certain engines and things to comply with the rules. i might start one day though if i find another club or buy myself an electric buggy :D

  • @gmodertom lol my fucking engine just cuts out after about 5 seconds even though its rich

  • @876904 try warming it up with a hair dryer, nitro engines dont like the cold and they can be even harder to start when they are new engines. keep trying once it has warmed up it should keep going

  • @gmodertom thnx tried that but it doesnt work you hear a loud click then it goes off

  • @876904 when an engine cuts out it allways clicks, it something to do with the flywheel, what fuel are you using, what engine is it? and how old is the engine?

if i knew that that might help a bit :)

  • @gmodertom im using 16% fuel and the engine is a team infinity plus it is brand new

  • @876904 well try these steps first:

    1. Check glow plug+glow start batteries, is it glowing?

2.Try priming the car before you start it

3.warm it with a hair dryer

    4.try starting it

5.if it wont start try taking the glow plug out pouring a little fuel in and then start it.

if all this fails, try a new glowplug get a hot one if its a new engine,

try a new more powerful glow starter

a lot of starting problems are due to bad glow plugs and or rubbish

glow starts hope this helps :)

  • @gmodertom bad idea poring fule into the cylender you get hydro lock then you gotta empty it

  • i know this sounds stupid but why do i nedd the batteries im a complete novice and got a condor

  • @876904 do you mean receiver batteries? these are to power the servos that control steering and throttle, the car wont work without it.

  • @gmodertom thanks i know now i need to tune it is slow and smokey

  • what car is this

  • @1999151 GV Models Hunter

  • i have a question. I have a nitro car and i havent drove it in 6 months. Do i have to break it in again or is it just a thing u do when its new and un-driven?

  • You only need to break in the engine when its new. Starting after months is easy- Just prime engine, check glow plug and off you go :D

  • stop complaining about his dirty car its probably faster than urs and atleast he took the time to basically take his whole car apart just to teach u something.

  • @CoddGodd lol, well since this video i have completely stripped and cleaned the whole car and engine, so its not mucky anymore :)

  • your air filter looks dirty. so do the rest of the car :P

  • @omfgimback ye i know, its clean now :)

  • nice vid, helped me alot

  • thanks m8

because i wonderd why it was cutting out on me i just need to break it in
