This video does Mario no justice, nor does the the style of drumming required by the bands he's played in since going pro.
We attended the same high school and I played in marching/jazz/concert band as a fellow drummer - if I could have been considered a "drummer" back then - barely.
Point being: Mario is one f-ing phenomenal drummer and a prodigious musician in general. Wish he would've gone into playing jazz/fusion professionally so as to better make use of his talent and skill.
I played a show with Mario in Fresno Ca. Cool ass dude!!!
