  • SHAMEFUR DISPRAY

  • This is actually better, remember you still hold on to the Mars star, wtf are those guys going to do after they light 3 out of 4? The world will be even more unbalanced with 1 unlit.

They have to come to Vale eventually to get the final star off you, at that point the Wise One can just solo them (we already know he can).

Seriously, making kids shouldering the weight of the worlds. Only in RPGs.

  • happy ending

  • Lol. I mean this alternative ending doesn't really bring about the destruction of Weyard. It just means that Isaac and Garet would have never met Ivan or Mia. Alchemy will still be restored, but Alex will claim the power of the Golden Sun which will probably still end up in vain, but at least it's not a complete bad ending.

  • @Plasmis29ml8 it is a bad ending, Isaac is stuck with the Mars Star, and since Saturos and Menardi dont have it, it will be the end of weyard :D

  • @FireBoshy You would think that Saturos and Menardi would come back to physically take the Mars Star, and since at this point Isaac and Garret are only slightly trained in Psynergy, they'd probably get owned :/ So Weyward would be saved after all...

  • @quinnly23 again wrong, Saturos and Menardi would be turned into dragons by the wise one....so the world end :D

  • @FireBoshy well played, sir xD

    god i love golden sun.

  • YES I BEAT THE GAME!

  • The world began to fade away, but Isaac and Garet had managed to survive riding a meteor to a galaxy far far away. Where they became Jedi wielding light sabers. Unfortunately, Felix also somehow survived and turn out to be Darth Vader. Alex also survived being Emperor Palpatine.

  • You know honestly, this would've saved everyone some time. lol

  • this what will happen:

-isaac cries on ground over and over years by years. and do nothing in vale.

-all light house lightened. formed a golden sun and vale was screwed.

-isaac's dad is dead and jenna and felix are nowhere to found.

-the luna tower is activated .

-weyard is doomed by dark dawn.

    -everyone dead.

    -end.

  • @omega197 But Isaac keeps the Mars elemental star right? So the Mars lighthouse can't be lit.

  • @luungockhang

the villains later realized that the mars star was on isaac's so after they lit jupiter lighthouse, they came back to vale first and attack isaac and since at that moment isaac is lv 1 wear the weakest sword and don't how to use sword and didn't had any djinn, he was OHKO with agatio's meteor blow and also destroyed the whole vale tat moment too.

    done.

  • @omega197 why agatio??? XD

  • @luungockhang

because he is the only possible character who had a kickass move that could destroy one village that time. (assume no doom dragon or fusion dragon since no one stopped those fire adepts>)

  • @omega197 But Menardi and Saturos were survive that time, so Karst won't look for Isaac and Agatio will stay with her lol.

  • @luungockhang I mean they were still alive, not survive :D

  • @luungockhang

yes i did say that. when i mean "those fire adepts" it was saturos, menardi, agatio, karst.and how do you mean saturos and menardi survived that venus lighthouse? i mean it's almost impossible to survive in the heart of the venus lighthouse. anyway any proof?

  • @omega197 I meant "they were alive" not "survived" :D. And if they didn't fight Isaac's team, they would light the Jupiter Lighthouse and go back to Vale to get the Mars Star later. So Agatio didn't have to show up.

  • BAD END

  • What a lot of people seem to be forgeting is that, yes Saturos and Menardi would have been able to light the lighthouses and save Weyard if Isaac&co. had no interfered, but Isaac still has the Mars Star. Without that Weyard would have become out of balance due to the lack of the Mars beacon, as what happens after the Reunion in TLA. Weyard would have continued to die and thus this ending is actually very acurate.

  • we said no, the menardi and saturos collapsed world, the wise one used by a football, the zombie's are eated humans, isaac and garet are killed by their zombie parents. THAT İS THE GOLDEN SUN! lol

  • Of course, it is pretty ironic that not doing anything actually would have allowed Felix to complete his task faster. Still, Doom Dragon would have owned him, Karst and Agatio (not to mention Alex) wouldn't have any reason to keep Felix alive without Isaac in the way, and the game would get stuck at the Magma Rock anyway since only Garet has the psynergy to open it. Plus, the storyline would be much worse. In short, Isaac is awesome and that's the end of the story.

  • LOL :D

  • lol i always do this when i replay the game for some kicks. It's like when Felix gets up after the island crash and checks for broken limbs. Never gets old when u pick it up again after a while.

  • Thats so sad. But isn't Felix able to do it alone if Issac isn't there?

  • @Cococrash11 Well, I wouldn't think so, because in Golden Sun 2 you have to combine the powers of both parties to overcome mars lighthouse as part of the story.. apparently..

But I just power-train in Islet Cave and attack spam the doom dragon xD

  • no isaac accepting the quest saved the world the lighthous needed to be lit to set things back in ballance unforunatly all of that raw power ends up scewing thins up later so there kids have to fix that so realy the kids of the warriors of vale where finishing what they started 30 years ago it all comes back to isaac saying yes of not everything would die anyway without the pwer of the 4 elaments that make life possable

  • @yami626 Periods..use periods...

  • Pretty ironic on how the world actually wont end if Isaac ignores the situation.

  • its funny because when you play the lost age you realize that isaac's quest was going to destroy the world if it ended up being successful, so not starting his quest would have made saving the world easier, am i wrong?

  • @Zodiamaster Alex would've gotten the whole power of the golden sun probably.... so who knows

  • @Zodiamaster Actually, I think it would of caused problems. SPOILER FOR ENDING OF GS 1 - If you were not at the top of Venus Lighthouse to stop Saturos and Menardi from beating up Felix, he could of died. Who knows? Karst and Agatio failed to complete the Mars Lighthouse and died cause of it, Do you think Saturos and Menardi had any better chances?

It all worked together, even if it did seem easier to just not accept the quest in the first place. The Wise one would of won.

  • @Benniboiere: lol, I think you're thinking too much into this. It was just something the developers put in.

  • @laharlff7ac lol I didn't mean to look that bad, I just like theorycrafting :P

  • @Benniboiere yes they had since when you dig up enough in prox you learn that saturos was the only one able to reach mars lighthouse aerie. now the question is would the wise one try to stop saturos or not? other than that he could have save weyard all by himself and menardi'S help. both of them were the strongest warrior of weyard. agatio and karst were not as strong.

  • @Benniboiere moreover since you still held mars star he would be back for isaac. so even though you refuse the quest you'll be forced back into it. i doubt isaac with his strong sense of justice would have refused yet another time to get involved.

  • Alternate ending is OP.

  • will you accept?

    no

    -END- :D

  • If you chose this end you cant play Golden Sun 2 because world is destructed

  • BEST.ENDING.EVER.

  • *spoilers*

one question in TLA you are suppose to light the lighthouse right? if felix saturos and menardi have nobody stopping them (isaac) (three stars) they would have no problem lighting the lighthouse and as time goes by saturos and menardi would have enough experience and skills to fight for the mars star from isaac.....in short they would have lighted all the lighthouses, so you win either way)(sure being transformed into dragons like agatio and karst and maybe fighting the doom dragom)

  • Haha. The genius about this is, the world DOES end if Isaac doesn't head out on his quest. Saturos and Menardi believe him dead and buried, so they may never find the Mars Star. Even if they do take the Mars Star away from him, they'd be either transformed into dragons like Agatio and Karst, or get their asses whooped by the three-headed dragon. Cue Alchemy never being restored and thus the destruction of the world after XX years.

I love some good Fridge Brilliance.

  • But the future refused to change...

  • @LordOppy nice line I remember it xD

  • This was such a beautiful ending!

  • Hahaha Wow I missed this part >.<

  • Comment removed

  • Don't get me wrong, but IF Isaac was like: "Nahh, fuck it" Wouldn't Saturos and Menardi have succeeded in lighing the lighthouses and saving Weyard?

  • @Vyomesh1984

Not a bad point, but of course they'll probably cause some havok.

  • @Vyomesh1984 Maybe, but remember that Isaac and Garet still had the mars star.

  • what happen next?? start new game???

  • i remember not saving and saying no.... i thought i had to try agin from the begining ㄱ-;

  • this game is fun but having to do all that maze again

i don't want to play it the 3rd time lol

  • although... if Issac never tried to stop the lighthouses from being lit...

    ....

Would it have even changed anything? Hmmm......

  • lmfao. i wonder how the person playing golden sun reacted when they saw that

  • I remember I did this, and I was like..."whoops, my bad"

  • i tried this before and i was laughing

  • "But thou must!" -Dragon Warrior

  • I like this one better

  • well technically yeah isaac has the mars star, but saturos and menardi could easily come back for it and totally rape him.

but at the same time, maybe the guardian would use a "miracle" to stop them

  • @zestytoaster by "miracle" do u mean the doom Dragon?

  • @animeguardianxx well no because that was made of isaac and felix's parents right? i just meant that the wise one would try to stop them somehow

  • @zestytoaster I can just see him summoning that thing and being like:

"Until you can defeat this beast, you have no refusal choice. Once you have progressed in your quest to when u can defeat it, you can refuse"

  • @zestytoaster Or maybe, if they come and ask him, he might just hand it over. lol

  • and then they died

    the end

  • Well, it doesn't reset the game. Once you walk out that door, the cut-scene is just replayed until you say yes.

  • "Healer:Will you accept responsibility?"

    Isaac:And that's how i destroyed the world :D

    Isaac's kids: .......

  • is it fake or it's real? O.o

  • It's real, but it repeats this cutscene over and over until you decide to save the world.

  • @laharlff7ac Lol no fair. the force the heroics on you!

  • how would it be destroyed, issac and jeret have the mars star. @.@

  • Once you play Golden Sun 2, you find out that Alchemy must be released for the world to be saved. If Issac kept the mars star forever, the world would eventually die.

  • AMG you're right! little mistake there Capcom! :P

  • @zheranthan: Uh... you mean Camelot...?

  • @laharlff7ac haha yeh, sorry, been some time ;)

  • if you play Harvest moon as a girl, you're informed of a ded in your name for the farm and you can say "no i dont want it" and the credits start rolling XD

i love when developers do this hahah

  • @dragonessly *deed* sorry

  • IT ENDS THERE?

    xDDDD

  • Rofl if they actually said no then everything would actually end up being fine and dandy anyways because felix jenna and saturos and menardi would just light all the lighthouses with little problem

But issacc and garet would end up dieing possibly in the very end of the lost age

and they would always be extremly weak with "Cotton shirts"and crap.

............and then theres all those djiin they wouldn't get...

  • @prime618 Isaac has the Mars orb?

  • I thought the game was a little short... now I have to pick it up again...

  • ok now i have to do that! because i never thougt about it before.

  • ...And everyone lived happly ever after :D

  • We all know that the world doesn't get destroyed once the lighthouses are lit. The world just begins to revive itself after so many years without the planet's natural alchemy.

  • Yea I did that on Metal Saga too i was like huh?

  • Oh, I did that too! Coward me...

  • ... NEVER TRIED TO DO THAT!!!

XD now i will do it in my next LP

    thanks for the vid :)

  • AMAZING. BRAVO. YAY.

    FUCK.

  • "and so the world began drifting towards its fated destruction"

    THE END

    gamer:...what?!

  • @hakureireimu6

Narrator: Now all that time and money wasted... (If you bought the game) and it has so little.. information... the gamer thinks.

Gamer: I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF! I SUE!

  • @hakureireimu6 Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen much?

  • @hakureireimu6 and they had to wait 8 more years until the story was finally wrapped up...wait, nevermind

  • Lol.

  • BEST RPG ENDING EVAR.

    Not including Disgaea endings.

  • Not even close. Try the Metal Saga first ending, where in the beginning you decide to be a mechanic instead of a hunter.

  • I ive in Arlington, Washington.

  • LOL

  • lol I had to do it when I learned of it, and it was amusing XD

  • LOLWUT

  • hahahahahaha i laughed at this wen it happend 2 me

  • Wait a second...

Wouldn't the events that happen with Saturos and Menardi completely contradict the whole "drifting toward destruction" thing?

  • Yeah, techincily, if Issac didn't interfere, Saturos and Menardi would've lit the towers and everything would've been fine. Jenna would've came home with her parents and Issac's dad and so would've Felix.

  • actually the mars lighthouse would never be lit

since agatio and karst failed completly to the mars lighthouse so would saturos and menardi.

IF saturos and menardi could reach the top i doubt they would defeat the 3 head dragon

  • But... But... Didn't they MAKE the three headed dragon?

  • the Wise One "mutated" Felix and Isaac's parents in a 3 headed dragon

  • uh dude AndreGOn, the three headed dragon was Jena's parents and Issac's dad and they could've NEVER lit the mars lghthouse because Issac's party has the mars star

  • if they never left they would have stayed at really low lvls and it wouldnt have taken much for Satauros and Menardi to come back and take it by force -.-

  • hy would they give you an option if you have to say yes no matter what unless they have in mind another way to keep up with the story changing the events of the game

  • Still wouldn't change the fact those other dudes would have lit the beacons.

  • wut...!? I never knew that =D

  • Oh wow. xD LOL. All the way at the beginning too.

  • what happens after this does it send you back too the menu and you start from your last save? or like does it deleat your file?

  • I'll just go back to the scene forcing you to say yes in order to continue with the game.

  • "Thus, Our Hero Led Weyard To The Apocalypse..."

I Feel Like Isaac Would Really Do This...

  • yeah, i did that and i was like

    WHAT THE HELL

and this is supposed to be a good game?

  • It IS a good game, but it's crazy generic at the start. Takes a while for it to get good. Luckily Lost Age starts out good and stays good for the rest of the game.

  • i hope so, ive still got to play the game

  • Actually, I think TLA lacks the flexible unique activities that the 1st had--sure, the world's way bigger, but I really wish we could go back to all the places the original had.

  • I do too.

  • true to that!!

  • LMFAO EPIC FAIL

  • wow thats crazy that this hapens i only have and beat the first one

  • hahahaha i remember when i first played the game i was like lol for fun ill press no, then i had to start all over:(

  • o.o

    i never answer no

i didnt know it would do that

  • thing is, the world actually wouldn't be destroyed, that's what's so ironic about it.

Wont spoil it for everyone here but lighting ALL the elemental lighthouses wont destroy the world.

  • Well, Isaac and Garet didn't know that. It's just that's what they were told. The Wise One is a conceiving little B****!

  • well it could in the long run

  • Best game in GBA!

  • What I don't get is if Isaac didn't agree to go on this mission, then based on The Lost Age, Saturos and Menardi would've lit all the other lighthouses like the original plan was.

  • They were sent to stop Saturos and Menardi from lighting the lighthouses because it would release Alchemy to the world.

Now, as there were on their journey they saw that the world was dying because it needed Alchemy to survive. Prox was on the verge of being obliterated, so they had to light it to save Prox as well as what was left in the world.

  • Comment removed

  • Chances are, the Wise one would have stopped them some how. He stopped the other two Fire adepts from lost age when they were scaling the Mars tower by turning them into dragons, leaving Isaac and team to finish the job.

  • It is most l likely that Felix's party alone wouldn't be able to do the job (unless controlled by player... oh wait -_-). And there's the matter of Alex and Wise One....

  • a little less satisfying ending... but you can tell your friends you finished in a day!

  • Took my a measly 110 hours >_>

  • haha, i remember doing this the first time i played the game, just to mess around

    lol

  • lol, thats funny. I never knew about this.

  • lol i love doing this.i wouldnt have learned without this video though.thxs a lot!

  • No prob., lol.

  • I didnt know they allowed you to leave after he said "once you blah blah"

    lol good stuff

  • LOL

  • lol Very good

  • great ending. i did this with a friend, laughed so much

  • What a great ending ^.^

  • I agree, if games were this short, there wouldn't be a need for grinding, lol.

Wait, not griding?! No! No! Must grind... Must... max out stats...

  • Cool games level to you I say. FF7 did :p But yeah, I think they should. It's no wonder I hated Diablo II so fucking much. Killing zombies for hours on end ain't my thing, sorry. Also, THIS GAME HAD TOO MANY FU**ING PUZZLES! SO. DAMN. BORING! sorry, gotta let that out. I had to look up every puzzle cuz you would have to look at a certain unmarked wall. I once went to one point of the world only to learn I would have to go all the way back to the beginning. No leading in the game at all

  • I enjoyed the puzzles, the only thing in golden sun i used a guide for was the djinn and thats because its like extremely time consuming to find every djinn just by walking around the giant map.

  • We should be able to Gameshark this very moment, and become "The Wise One" then make others do our bidding and turn people in large indestructible dragons. While we just hover as a rocky floating eye.

  • guys... comment on the VIDEO!!!!!!!! but yea texas rule

  • This is not an alternate ending.

  • How is it not an alternate ending? I mean, the world basically ends since Isaac chose not to save the world.

  • Wait... wouldn't Saturos and Menardi be able to light the beacons, saving the world? The whole first game was of you trying to stop them, thinking that they'd destroy the world if they did, eventually killing them. (I hated when I found out that all along, Saturos and Menardi were actually the good guys, and you were doing acts that would destroy the world... DAMN YOU WISE ONE!!!)

  • lol... listen 2 what teh ppl say dam it if all them were lit it would overload teh world wit alchemy (in my words) the golden sun story (1st and 2nd) is very confusing anyway i personally think GS are the best games =D

  • Won't the world be destroyed anyway?

Actually no it wont, and the reason is because if you don't light the lighthouses Weyard erodes away to nothngness. But is you do light them psynergy will restore balance. It's just a matter of stopping any man from taking all of that psynergy. Example, stop Alex.

I konw this is getting long but do any of you ever wonder if Alex survived? I wish they would make a third one...

  • Way to spoil the second game...

Yes, even I have wondered about it. I do think that he survived.

  • He survived, but is in some sort of immobile state, trapped under what used to be Mt. Aleph. He can't use any of his power, since he's under a mile of rock. Sucks for you, Alex! (But, if I had to guess who the antagonist of 3 would be...)

  • This is of nothing more than an assumption. Until Camelot proves otherwise, we really won't know.

  • The CEO himself said that they had been working on it, and that a game of such magnitude should have time, and whatnot. I'm paraphrasing, but you get the general idea.

  • where did you hear this?

  • They have no idea what they're talking about. No CEO is going to talk about it like that.

    This is obviously false information.

  • wow. Guiding Isaac, Felix, then Alex, all three of whom are certain that they are the good guys...this story can get a little confusing

  • AN-tagonist. Not PRO-tagonist. He'd be the main enemy character... See what I'm saying? It's well-known that a 3rd Golden Sun is in the works, at least as far as a drawing board. I'm just making a speculation as to who the bad guy is.

  • i see what u sayin but im still wondering if the hero in the 3rd game will be alex or if Camelot will introduce a new team

  • Hero couldn't be Alex. Perhaps the old gang's children? It'd make sense. They might upset some shippers, but...

  • Well, at the same time, it might not.

I mean look, they have finally unleashed the power of Alchemy to the world. Some evil power hungry person is obviously going to try to take over the world. This can happen anytime after the events of the second game.

So who really knows. Unless someone from Camelot themselves says something about it, there isn't any concrete proof of a third game. I really do wish that there is a third game.

  • Concrete evidence? Shugo Takahashi, co-owner of Camelot, said himself that they would love to make a third Golden Sun, and that it's being given ample time, as it deserves. You ask me, that golf game's too high on their list. It's been 4 years. Come on, Camelot!

  • "They would love to make a third..." Until there are some trailers or anything from the company themselves, then there is no concrete evidence of it's release.
