You can't beat the classic adventure of Star Ocean 2...I mean how they ruin RPGs with their stupid anime style voices, and annoying characters. Kinda loses a lot of my attention. At least Star Ocean 2 kept the main point the entire game....SO3 was terrible because you were trying to trying to stop a war from Aquios and that other place, and then aliens attack, I mean what the fuck. That was the stupidest plot ever...Totally ruined the game, they should have made the two sides fight, and the end.
Maybe you should become a game developer and make your own stupid game. Star Ocean 3 was a good game, if you don't like it then play your precious SO 2.
Once again, I'll add to Naota's argument and say that ALL Star Ocean's are connecting stories; Gameplay on any of the newer model Star Ocean's, and plot including, have done well.

The guy with the scythe reminds me of Albel from SO3, who's not only my best character in the game but also one of my favorite characters in any RPG..I think I'll get used to him real quickly >:)

That was for another star ocean title that just recently came out on the DS or PSP (Can't remember wich.) I don't think anyone has reviewed this game yet.
well XBOX/XBOX360 never had an RPG like this correct me if im wrong but the only RPG they have is the likes of Fable etc...so its interesting to see that they're changing...but anyway seems like i'm not going to buy a new Console like PS3/XBOX360/Wii cause i got a little tired of it PS2 is enough for me,well if things is looking up i might consider it but for now,no more Console for me lol...
If i'm right, then the playable characters in this game will be (SPOILER) Edge, Reimi, Faize, Lymle, Bacchus, Meracle, Crowe (though I haven't seen a gameplay of him yet), Myuria, Arumat, and Sarah. (END) If that's so, then my party roster will be (once it's all done) - Edge, Reimi, Faize, Lymle, Bacchus, Meracle or Arumat, Myuria for sure!! ^^, and Sarah, only because I love Spellcasters. =D
Since only 8 characters could join your roster, I will be creating multiple saved games so I can experience all of them. =) The thing I don't know is which characters will permanently join the party, and which ones will be alternative ones, like in Star Ocean 3, i.e- Nel, Abel, Peppita, and Roger. I'm guessing Edge, Reimi, Faize, Lymle, Bacchus, and Myuria will permanently join, while you can pick from either Meracle, Crowe, Arumat, or Sarah to fill in the 7th and 8th spots in your roster. =)
I think SO4 will be like SO3, cuz in SO3 you experience battle with each character at least once. So hopefully we'll experience controlling all these SO4 characters at least once. I think they do that so we can get an idea of what their like for when we recruit them we have some general idea of wat were getting into our parties....

It is first being released for 360 because this version doesn't have as much content as the ps3 version that is going to be released sometime later this year. So people like me that only buy and support sony/nintendo products will just have to wait. But it is coming to ps3 with better graphics and more story. It wasn't released in English yet but just translate japanese and you'd see it's not microshit exclusive.

The guy with the scythe reminds me of Albel from SO3, who's not only my best character in the game but also one of my favorite characters in any RPG..I think I'll get used to him real quickly >:)

well XBOX/XBOX360 never had an RPG like this correct me if im wrong but the only RPG they have is the likes of Fable etc...so its interesting to see that they're changing...but anyway seems like i'm not going to buy a new Console like PS3/XBOX360/Wii cause i got a little tired of it PS2 is enough for me,well if things is looking up i might consider it but for now,no more Console for me lol...

If i'm right, then the playable characters in this game will be (SPOILER) Edge, Reimi, Faize, Lymle, Bacchus, Meracle, Crowe (though I haven't seen a gameplay of him yet), Myuria, Arumat, and Sarah. (END) If that's so, then my party roster will be (once it's all done) - Edge, Reimi, Faize, Lymle, Bacchus, Meracle or Arumat, Myuria for sure!! ^^, and Sarah, only because I love Spellcasters. =D

Since only 8 characters could join your roster, I will be creating multiple saved games so I can experience all of them. =) The thing I don't know is which characters will permanently join the party, and which ones will be alternative ones, like in Star Ocean 3, i.e- Nel, Abel, Peppita, and Roger. I'm guessing Edge, Reimi, Faize, Lymle, Bacchus, and Myuria will permanently join, while you can pick from either Meracle, Crowe, Arumat, or Sarah to fill in the 7th and 8th spots in your roster. =)

I think SO4 will be like SO3, cuz in SO3 you experience battle with each character at least once. So hopefully we'll experience controlling all these SO4 characters at least once. I think they do that so we can get an idea of what their like for when we recruit them we have some general idea of wat were getting into our parties....

It is first being released for 360 because this version doesn't have as much content as the ps3 version that is going to be released sometime later this year. So people like me that only buy and support sony/nintendo products will just have to wait. But it is coming to ps3 with better graphics and more story. It wasn't released in English yet but just translate japanese and you'd see it's not microshit exclusive.
