I generally don't appreciate Glee's versions for the masive amount of autotune, but I must say this one is really great... Adele's voice is more raw and heartbreaking, or that's how I perceive it.

my opinion:
it seems like her voice fits this song better than adele's. i can't quite describe it. sure, i love adele! no doubt about it. but gwyneth's voice fits this song better, like i said earlier. just an opinion..all u adele fans please dont be ofended..

As much as I love Gwyneth, this has no where near as much depth and emotion as Adele's, no one could ever come close to how much feeling she puts into her songs.

I would prefer this song if Jonathan Groff [Jesse St James] was singing it. When he and Lea Michelle [Rachel] sing Rolling In The Deep, he nails it. I wish they hadnt made it a duet and instead just had him singing it. Jonathan covers Adele perfectly. He has the roughness in his voice that makes it incredible. This is a little too sugary for my liking.

Adele is a good musician, but all of you fanboys just have to admit that the beauty of a voice is something very subjective and depends on personal taste, just like falling in love. I personally don't really like Adeles way of singing and prefer Gwyneths voice. And it's just human nature that some people will agree with me on that, and some people won't believe how that's possible. But please, stop verbally killing eachother over this. It's so meaningless.

@sammygirl971 Bitch please. Everybody has the right to voice their opinion. It is my opinion that Adele's version of this song is so much better because it has so much more emotional depth than a Glee storyline. It is nothing against Gwyeneth Paltrow or Glee but it is in my opinion that as song like this need a strong voice like Adele's to convey the actual message of the song.

i honestly can't tell who is better. This version has better strings. Gwyneth's has more emotion to it. But ADELE's is more open and jazzy sounding.

@Grange34 thats your opinion but my opinion is that while adele is a good singer she is by far not one of the best in music, i cannot listen to her music over and over without thinking she sounds sort of weird. ANYWAY this video isn't about who is better between adele or gwyneth...it is abot enjoying the cover that has been done to the best of paltrow's abilities. and my ears are not wasted on me thanks, my eyes however are wasted on useless comments like these
