i love having clinton portis, but i do miss champ bailey. i dont know if it was really worth it, but the skins got s.springs that same season. springs was was one of the best corners in the nfc east and at times the best corner in the division. he got hurt too much. champ is awesome. that was ridiculous in 2000 how the redskins had Darrell Green, Deion sanders, and Champ Bailey all playing on the same team at CB lol.

as much as i love portis and the broncs, they did good but letting him go as soon as he started running into injury problems... amazing RB, but i agree with herb... the broncos stretch run scheme makes a joe RB look like a pro bowler (looks at bell)

also look at champ last year (06-07) he had more red zone interceptions than i though imaginable... saved alot of points for that D

1st of all let me start of by saying Clinton Portis is a all around team player. We let Champ go because he wanted to much money and we needed a proven back since Stephen davis was in decline. Champ is the best corner in the league now and probably the best since Darrell Green.The reason why it looks like Denver got the better part of the deals is it took Clinton sometime to learn Joe Gibbs North to south running sceam, instead of Denvers East to West Running sceam.

i'm not sure what you mean.. but the broncos got the better end of the deal.. champ has been the shutdown corner that we thought he'd be an portis' numbers aren't as good as they were when he was in denver.. besides, we have a great running attack no matter who is our runningback.. we've had better success than washington too..
