  • 57 people overrode this son- *TROMBE*

  • One user got Tanged

  • @DLAbaoaqu I didn't know.

  • Ah yes...the BGM of one of the most epic battles in the whole Super Robot Taisen history. This fight is for sure one of the most memorable from all of them. During that mission you just have that enormous felling, that the fate of whole world lies in your hands....that you cannot turn back....that the only thing you can do is brace yourself and help Shinji come back to his senses...Truly epic. Fav and Thumb up.

  • One person just off himself out of bitterness toward this song...

  • Aaah. So many fond memories of the Alpha series. Going through the entire series took me around an entire year but it was one of the most satisfying game stories i've seen so far.

Also, @DeltaChaos, I've made sure to do a Trombe Override before slapping Eva-01 around some :)

  • I hate how they make it sound like the end is enjoyable and happy :P

  • And then suddenly, Trombe plays out of nowhere.

  • Where can I find te musical score?

    Can someone help me please?

  • Naaaaaaaa Naaaaaa Naaaa Na Na NA NAAAAAAAAAAAA

    Hey Shinjiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • Best BAGPIPE Theme ever...

  • Bright is the end of Evangelion.

  • I overrode this theme with trombe lol

  • I think that everytime Evangelion shows up in an SRW game with Bright in it, Banpresto needs to outfit the Ra Calium with a giant, hand-shaped missile for these exact situations

  • Well, the Shinji hate mainly comes from the fact that in the main series he basically dooms humanity to an eternal hell via being a colossal pussy. In SRW he's basically comatose right now, and oh boy he is ever pissed off about his father trying to start this crap again.

  • @Darkforce222 And the fact he was Gainax's punching bag when the show had it's run.

  • I Found Funny that every ones says that shinji is Stupid (HE IS), but in this game I heard that he overcome his fears and "Practically" Stoped the End of the World

  • @Racsowar That's what happens when you are surrounded by some of the manliest men to ever ride eachother during an inexplicable sunset in space and have been Bright slapped.

  • Without lyrics and in the SRWverse, this song actually becomes genuinely upbeat. It's more about Shinji's friends trying to wake him up than emodeath.

  • I still think a Harmonica is sorta needed & as for Shinji he need A Falcon Punch, A Bright Slap & a Karen Rackin('member what she did to Terry Sanders Jr.)

  • Mobile Suit Gundam, encouraging beating up emos every day.

Though in actuality, this WOULDN'T HELP at all, not so in a fantasy world full of violence.

  • Needs more trombe.

  • I remember that every time I play this level I set this theme for everyone (Well, except Basara, Elzam and Baran Doban of course) just because it fits the level so well. Same thing with Tammashi no Refrain in MX

  • The Bright Slap has the power to stop the end of the world! Bright is up there with the most EPIC Real Men in all of Mechadom. Though... I dont think the Bright Slap could override Trombe! .....

  • I think so. Because Bright is a REAL MAN.

  • Bright Slap, stopping Trombe! ?! Sorry, but as epic as it is, a Slap cant stop the most epic Theme song in existance....

  • If anything, It'd be more like two falcon punches colliding, as both factors have an inordinately high epic quotient.

But all that fancy talk aside, they're both win, so let's leave it at that shall we?

  • @TrombeX2

Heh, true. Trombe! may be able to override any song, but it cant turn sissy pilots into "REAL MEN".... like Shinji Ikari. And in the case of Shinji, grant them the ability to Bright Slap someone else (Screw you Jesus Yamato!). Both are epic in their own right.

  • And to think that all it took was the impending end of the world to do it.

    And this song.

And let's not forget, Captain Bright himself as well.

  • Yeah... At least that.

And a little calm down on the game.

  • I remember this song...Evangelion right? I loved this song on the stage :)

  • Whoa... Such an unfitting song for a battle...

  • That's how it works. In the film, the original version with lyrics depicts encouragement of suicide despite the fact that the way the song is played sounds upbeat and joyful. It's intentionally deceiving.

  • AKA intentionally stupid. I don't know who thought this was a good idea, clearly they were stoned at the time.

  • @SJtheMFZB Read the interviews with Anno. Not only does this song tie into his own depression at the time, but is meant to show Shinji's conflicting feelings in wanted to die to escape what was essentially becoming paradise on earth.

  • @EternalDragonBall

Dammit, You're gonna make me say it...

    ITS A TRAP DAMMIT!

  • @EternalDragonBall

ppl didn't die, they just transformed into something else... It may or may not be a bad thing for some.

  • @bananian Somehow I don't think many people enjoy the idea of an eternal existance of not knowing where one person ends and another begins, living in a mixture of several BILLION thoughts swirling around all at once.

Actually that DOES sound kinda c-*pop, splat*

  • @AceTheSlayer75 Oh shit.... you turn in LCL... oh wai- *SPLAT*

  • @Racsowar The beginning and the end are one and the same. Good, everything's going well....*melts into LCL*

  • @EternalDragonBall That's why I like the @3 version

no doom and gloom to ruin an otherwise enjoyable song

  • Don't be foolish. Action-packed tunes get old fast. In some cases, playing something peaceful adds an interesting contrast.
