  • petersons defense attourney is such a badass

  • His sexual orientation wasn't on trial, was it? Whatever else in his life he lied about, what matters is if the prosecutors can establish beyond reasonable doubt that Peterson committed the crimes he was on trial for.

  • What the crockumentary fails to include:

Peterson's original statement to paramedics is that he went out to turn off the pool lights. I guess his lawyer informed him that this was ridiculous because it took at leat 45 minutes for Kathleen to bleed to death. The story was then massaged into, "I was lounging by the pool in 53* weather at 2:30 in the morning."

  • "In search of the truth"? Balderdash. These filmmakers went in to this mockumentary with a preconceived notion about the defendant's innocence, unfair prosecution, American legal system and Southern culture. So many vital facts of this conviction are omitted from this film and it clearly represents the filmmakers biased, political agenda. Shame on them. Michael Peterson commited this murder and is exactly where he belongs--in prison for life where he will remain.

  • This preview makes it look unbiased but it is not. They omitted footage that was unfavorable to Peterson, which is obvious with the choppy editing. They say that he was convicted because he's bisexual, while leaving out the fact that he LIED about it repeatedly. And I'm pretty liberal and completely support the rights of gay and lesbian persons, but that doesn't mean that it's okay if my husband is having a gay affair.
