So, it's no wonder we can find people from Javanese tribe but morphologically looks mix of Malays, Chinese, &Caucasian..
however, i still think that the ladies from the Nusantara (luvisminda [bangsa-filipina], malaysia, indonesia, south thailand, brunei, singapura, champa [chams of vietnam], etc.) look the best!

FYI, indonesian has been occupied by dutch for more 350 years and portuguese, so a part of indonesian has dutch and portuguese blood.mostly dutch, not only in indonesia cuz in holland also a lots dutch with indonesian descendant. indonesia has more than 350 etchniques, some are mixed chinese, some are mixed indian/arabian. malay,sundanese, javanese, minahasan, etc. and the original ppl of malaysian, singaporean and brunei came from riau archipelago in indonesia from malay ethnique.
The glorification is from appearance, the media likes that. However, average Indonesian usually do not care much about appearance. What they judge usually is one's behavior/manner.

All you see is beauty being potrayed if you either have asian european looks.I mean come on man seriously....WHat's wrong with raw asian and indonesian looks from different ethnicities...so pathetic i can't watch!
i guess this can apply in any other Asian Nation..not only in Indonesia...ive seen other asian countries who also emphasise part asian individuals aswell..although in terms of the clip, there is only a small portion of mixed celebs indicated, & a greater amount of unmixed indo celebs..& in regards to the soap operas in indo, i dont think the indomedia portrays halfies..i've seen a lot worst...especially tv shows in the phillippines..it's 10X worst.
wow some of them are mixed right? they are gorgeous, they look similar to the filipino beauties too. i'm guessing of their mixed heritages. it seems to me there's more variety in their looks in southeast asia than in japan, china, korea...they all tend to look alike? but thyere still pretty though.
