On the junkscience website they've been offering a money prize for well over a year now, to anyone who can scientifically prove that human activity is causing catastrophic climate change. I would have thought that at least one of the many thousands of qualified scientists, who support the IPCC position, would have taken them on just to prove that their science is correct. Yet, again, no takers. The prize has increased to $500,000 - a sizeable sum that easily rivals your average research grant.

Governments rely mainly on economists to predict climate change yet economists have trouble predicting economies! In 2010 we will agree that climate change was a flavour of the month just after the Y2K computer crash and the Avian flu epidemic. Skies falling, polar caps melting, tropical islands flooding. Show me just one flooded island. Why am I suspicious when it comes to trusting politicians and economists? Are there any scientists in the house - any without agendas?
