It's not that the commercials are homophobic, it's that in this age television should be all inclusive. It's the same principle as only airing commercials with black people in them on BET. People, especially teens and young adults who may live in an area where they don't have any positive gay role models should be able to turn on the tv and see people like them portrayed in a positive light for something other than shock value.
