they just dont make em like this today, do they. What a great great band. Definitely one of the 10 greatest punk bands. Maybe top 5. But not as well known as Ramones Sex Pistols Clash. What great musicianship in their songs. And what a great singer Malcolm is. A pinnacle in punk music
Saw them many times in their early days,in Southall,Hayes and Acton. It was fantastic being a teenager in the late 70's......West London was a real hotbed of raw Punk bands
first band i saw 50p short to get in malcolm let me and my m8 in at side door great show great band great human like all the good ones taken too early hes just a human punk god bless

agree with you 100% there @helenamarshall2007.....Id go further, & say they were up there in the top few to have GRACED this planet-& our eager little ears!!
IF anybody,in the later years of your life (or even, now!) says to you"All right then Mr. Know-it-all!!!!:Just exactly what would YOU- call- MUSIC THAT KICKS FUCKIN''ASS--This will song will be your reference point!!!!!
The one and only time I saw this band(seriously) they were on the back of a lorry being driven around the Hyde Park area(with Misty-in-Roots) en route to the 1978 Anti Nazi-League rally in the park.I thought they were f***ing amazing,Misty who had been on just b4 them were pretty good too!
I was heartbroken when Malcolm died. When I met him after the gig at Newcastle Mayfair, he was real gent! His kiss (even though it wasn't a full on snog!) has stuck in my mind for many years, he could have a long way with the band....but hey! that's life! Ha!

Top band. Caught them at the Marquee about three weeks before Malcolm Owen passed away. Would have been one of the greats had he lived.
