The autobots were worried about the high possibility of bee as well as their planet.

no1 remembers that hot rod's name had some trouble during that time and it was changed to rodimus (being then rodimus prime when he got the matrix) and hot shot later to avoid that problems (transformers energon used both rodimus and hot shot anyway) and there is no relation between hot rod/ hot shot and bumblebee :/

This is a powerful song, because it's saying you're going to need more that money and muscles/words and guns to cross the river...aka Decepticons...aka to win the war.
