Wanna know what wouldve made this 100x better than it already was, is if you kept the video playing from 0:43 on, and at 0:58 make the thing in the backround explode, and have the man and women in the video keep walking. That wouldve been awesome!

Also the only beef I had was with the heavy vignette. It was too dark, and too center punched. The lighter the strokes, the more effective the changes. It's like putting makeup on a pretty girl, you've already got a pretty shot, no sense in putting too much digital makeup on there. Just use the vignette to gently bring the viewer's attention to detail.
Very nice video, though, I'd like to see a short done with this time ramping.
Hi there, can you please tell me what frame rate you shot at and whats the slowest FPS you managed to get it to go down to without distortion? Eg, whats the slowest you got it too? lol.
Really interested in video since I got my 7D, I normally do just photography but I am really getting into video projects =D
@thywin: Agree to disagree. I always share my workflow notes in order to help others in the online community. While I like photo slideshows like on your page, this little piece took a great deal of work. Not sure if you're hating because you use Nikon, or what? Suffice to say, one has a right to their own opinion, however, you can always just watch something else, okay? Cheers.

Well, simply put, it was shot before the last firmware update that allows direct Log & Transfer options. I Conformed in Cinema Tools because I shot it 60p, but knew I wanted a slow motion feel (and Time Remapping), so I conformed it first so that FCP would only see it as 24p footage.

Well, simply put, it was shot before the last firmware update that allows direct Log & Transfer options. I Conformed in Cinema Tools because I shot it 60p, but knew I wanted a slow motion feel (and Time Remapping), so I conformed it first so that FCP would only see it as 24p footage.
It worked out okay, no?
