I didn't like the first one very much because of the control scheme and I definitely don't like it when games make such dramatic changes to their characters. I like Rare characters who have compact cartoon-like bodies but this looks for realistic and that's not something I want from Rare so I'm kinda glad it was canceled.

@ManicRaider This is just a very rough animation. You can't see the environment and Kameo (if that's her) isn't textured. Only very basic colours are used when you're handling animation so you get maximum performance.

Rare has been copping non-stop abuse from their owners since 2001. First Nintendo during their "greedy, blind and *%$# scared of pirating" period of 2001-2004, then under ownership of Microsoft I'm not quite sure what happened there. They released Grabbed by the Ghoulies, and the in fad - out fad in just 3 years Viva Piñata. Their best games of late were their GBA and DS releases (where the publisher was always loving THQ). The new Banjo game was pretty good.

But I just get the itching feeling that behind closed doors they have been hounded and abused and poked. Asked to go against their nature in favor of making money over making great games. Pushed for tight release dates which always apposed their strives for perfection, despite having a massive staff larger then most development teams. The fact the original owners recently left the company says a lot. As far as I'm concerned the only Publishers I trust atm is THQ and Take-Two Interactive

I can explain that, I did some recon over the internet and its really Microsoft's fault for cancelling Kameo 2. Microsoft is coming out with Project Natal which is VERY similar to wii and PS3 motion sensory equipment. Microsft just wants to have that gimmick to rake in money, and I hope it fails so that Rareware can make the sequel to Kameo.
