She has ambition and even though she seems a bit tomboyish and laid back, she does have a responsible side to her, and she doesn't lash out like Becky did. Also, you know what they say about sluts -- men don't marry sluts; they rent them... which explains why David never ended up with Molly. ;)

@crpsaiyan Very good point. Despite the bossiness and sarcasm, Darlene does have a good head on her shoulders. I just always thought David could do better than Darlene. Its a sickening thing to see a relationship that's that one-sided, and unfortunately its all too common...that's what I love about this show though, the brutal honesty of it.
