  • sooo hard

  • I remember playin this when I was 10 and I gotta tell ya, It was addicting and hard. I didn't care much about the story because I didn't understand it at all lol

  • Does anyone remember these games were on the pc?

  • You don't know anything about games! This is a classic.

  • if you liked this like me, get dessert strike too

  • FYI, they're actually hydra/hellfire missiles. Stingers shoot down planes and stuff (Maybe that's what the minibuses where shooting at you!?)

  • I love the Strike Trilogy on the Genesis. The PS1 sequels were terrible.

Nice job blowing up the Washington Monument! LOL

  • Love this game.

  • Great review but you do realize that your remaining armorment is at the top of the status screen? And if this has been pointed out then ignore everything except great review!

  • You, the Incom guy, and Gamester81 are the big 3 of classic game reviews.

FYI: AVGN doesnt count, hes more of a comedian than a true reviewer.

  • Thanks! I try to put together enjoyable reviews of the classic without being too gimmicky. Inecom guy is my personal favorite.

AVGN is in a whole nother ballpark though. He's taken this stuff to a whole different level of entertainment.

  • @dommiesan

Hahaha yeah your reviews are a lot like Mark's. Classic Game Room...Classic Games Revisited.....hmmmmmm lol.

  • @Maus5000 I'd say it all has to do with views. If they are popular, they would be considered in "the big 3"

Sadly, Irategamer fits in this category, so that officially made my comment pointless >.<

  • you sound like the inecomcompany guy

  • I take that as a compliment. His reviews are awesome!

  • I have heard a lot about Strike series, but never played it.

  • How can that many terrorists get that close to the White House?

  • Don't let common logic get in the way of a great storyline! ;)

  • Im just busting your chops :)

  • I love the new intro dommie, and this game is pretty fun

  • awesome intro!!

  • Thanks! I was long overdue to change the intro.

  • theres a jet, hover craft and bike to thats in the game..pretty fun lol

  • i have this game its awesome

  • The whole series should be ported to the psp or dsi with a bit of a revamp. i loved these games:) great review.

  • I totally agree. Or at least Xbox Live or the PSN store.

  • The PC version had full motion cut scenes, you'd have loved it. There are a couple more games on the PS1 as well. I only have Soviet Strike, but I know they made Nuclear Strike as well for sure.

  • I have both, but haven't dug into them yet. I didn't realize they were sequels to this and Desert Strike. They're gonna go on my to-do list when I get back!

  • LMAO!!

"Uh...guys, yeah, uh...sorry about that whole destroying the Washington Monument thing. "

I've destroyed the landmarks so many times in this game by accident.

Great game, although I prefer Dessert Strike.

    Great review, Dom.

  • Im going to be an ass and say that helicopters dont fire stingers at ground targets :) But we get the idea (Im a former jarhead and a military buff....that and I work for Boeing LOL)

  • It's cool, I don't mind being corrected when I'm wrong. I just didn't know what else to call them. ;)

  • new theme intro, eh??? cool!!!

  • Comment removed

  • first epic lolz!!!!

  • Nice slew of reviews dude!

I remember loving this game as a kid, but honestly, it doesn't look all that appealing anymore, besides from the epic intro and the masterful b rated plot =-p lol

  • What more could you ask for (gameplay be damned!)... I'd love to have a poster of that drug lord standing next to Saddam!
