Completely untrue. Most people believed indians where lampiños, some did have facial hair, infact, some had beards. They constantly shaved. It is part of our daily lives. Tainos as well as most (if not all) natives in the north, central and south shave. Of course we have to take in consideration that after 500 years of the first europeans to reach our shores most of us are meztisos (cant help that fact) and have to shave more often :)
Hello Chief Gomez!! I am Pablo Gouveia.. My grandfather was the first on my father's side to come to USA.. I wish to learn more of my people.. besides this what is the best source?
@hebrewmatrix there are American Indians who are full-blooded but have american last names. African Slaves took English last names as well.... how or why do you think that happens?
in order to survive back in the day, you either converted to christianity or stayed a slave. when you converted, they baptized you and gave you a spanish name.
it doesn't matter that it's the 21st century... the ways before (500 years ago) would sustain us better than what we have now even though there are more people now. at the rate western civilizations are going, the world would become corrupt, polluted, and depleted of resources
thanks for sharing chief Daniel Gomez but it would be nice to meet or contact you, i would like to learn more about your culture i think we might be related from the grand son of a Amerindian first nations chief and representative to his people .. i am Arawak too ...
Hello chief Daniel Gomez, first let me say how very proud i am of you standing up for you heritage and your 1st nations Amerindian peoples, seeing my grand father and his teachings was a true act of love for his people too,Stephen Campbell love you people so much that he wanted me to become the 2nd representative or speaker to govern and protect our Amerindian peoples but there were a lack of money provided by the Guyana government to supply our people
may creator bless u my brother from Ny pueblo del Taino concilio tristate that belong to concilio Taino Gua'tu'ma'cu a borike'n.....yukahu cacona guari ke tai ku
