  • Awesome message...too bad most people aren't interested in the slow healthy way, they want the pill, or the magic herb that will make it all go away without having to change their relationship with food...and that is the problem...our relationship with food!!

    In the moment is not just making good choises, it's also every single action you do.

    I am extremely intrested in fitness and have struggeled before when I didn't know the stuff you mentioned in your videos, and I must say, of all the videos/articles/studies I'v read seen or heard on the subject.

    everything changed. Yes, I have lost weight but I'm craving fruit,rice,cereal,oatmeal...ba­sicly all the

    foods not allowed on atkins until the later stages. Your message really struck a cord with me because I feel like I'm not eating healthy and that's what I want.

  • Can you lose weight if you eat any type of food as long as it's under 1500 calories? Because I'm trying that but I'm not sure if that's gonna work. Some say you just have to keep under 1500 calories a day. And I burn about only 300 calories day. Will I lose weight? How much?

  • @ed391929 Hey! that was my question when I first started losing weight. The answer is yes, as long as you stay under your calorie limit, you will lose weight. What will happen, is you will be forced to make healthy choices because you will be so aware of your calories, and being healthy usually follows naturally. Start with counting calories, and good habits will follow.

  • Eating healthy can easily help someone go from obese to a normal, or lower weight, but what about people who are in the normal weight range and want to be thin? Unfortunently healthy doesn't work for everyone in that area. Also, green tea makes me gain weight .. and throw up .. maybe i'm alergic ?

  • Shanti, I was doing so well at this for months and feeling great, and as soon as I went home for a visit, I completely fell off the wagon. How do you avoid this from happening? I have been struggling ad lost, and I found this video again and it all just clicks. I want to do this again and feel great, but how do you keep from going back into old habits? During winter break from college I was home for months, not doing my own shopping, and completely forgot about my progress.

  • I don't agree 100% with you. I lost 15 kg (33,45 lbs) in 2 months... you lost 50 lbs in 1 year. Why ? Because if you really want to loose weight you got to combine few things : nutrition (eat less than before and try to cut off sugary stuff) and do sports (run three times a week and 25mins of walk everyday).

    But my personal experience teached me that food is the main cause of your weight. Eating at Mc Donald and then run wont really help. TRY TO EAT SMALLER PORTIONS IT WORKS !

  • I just found your videos, and I must say your very inspirational. I usually look for a direct "how to" about losing weight, but it never works. I always say, I'm going to TRY to lose weight. I have been very confused in the past few years, because when I suffered from depression I became OCD about food. Counted every carb, calorie, you NAME it. I got so bad I started to cut myself as a punishment for binge eating. My dad finally took me to a shrink when he realized I was making such a big deal

  • Listen, I have watched many weight loss videos. People trying to explain weight loss and how to lose weight but none really hit me in the heart.
