Another problem here is if you have a three wire home run in that switch box you could potentially have another live circuit in the box.The short 2 minute video doesn't explain enough for you to safely work on the box!And yes,there is nothing to do with a dimmer.Expert village videos need more information in them.Most videos should not be shown to untrained people anyway.

I agree. Did you see the other electrical switch Expert Village series w/ the hipster guy w/ all the tattoos? A segment would start w/ the guy halfway done talking about a 'safety' tip. Are they trying to kill us?
