to do those 540 kicks u have to be very soupleT_T

  • ohhh sht, i kno its all just flashy kicks. but it looks so cool.

awsome video and thanks for the upload

  • Yeah the Korean Tigers are an elite bunch of TKD uhh elites that have made basically their own style for TKD demonstrations. THey're like... THe elites! God I wish I could join them.

  • Os van a machacar en la competicion de Valencia...

  • me encanta el TKD lo practico hace 10 años, he participado en campeonatos al rededor de todo colombia. solo digo... el TAEKWONDO NO ES SALUD

  • nope..the song is "Carmina Burana"..and I believe was created by a Benedctine monks..and is a introduction to a the rest of the monk's poems..

  • nope, the carmina burana is a collection of songs (carmina is Latin plural for "songs"), and this one is called o fortuna as mentioned by komandosmackan. this orchestrated version is by carl orff -- he wrote the composition, but not the lyrics, they are indeed older and were written by clergy. so you are only partly right. but no offense :)

  • nadien habla espanol para estender los comentario lo unico que dijo yo

tae kwon do es mortal e podido lograr ganarle distintas diciplina en fin el video es super bueno

  • may i know what song is this??anyone??

  • Carmina Burana

  • these guys must train all the time and imagine the injuries they get ive won national state international comps but how good would you feel doing these things

  • Damn, I was capable of doing this stuff. But now I have quit Taekwondo. I quit because I didnt like Taekwondo anymore. But now I wish to go back and train demonstration instead of sparring.

  • maybe your always been defeated in competition... har har....

  • i love taekwondo..i'd like to be like them ;_;

  • the dude broke an apple!!!!! I used to be in tae kwon do but this is amazing!!!!:)

  • Obviously, they are better than the "average matial artist" because they trained using traditional Korean TKD skills. Whilst, in America, the risk of injury is too frightening to allow such training.

  • o yeah! i think this is the show i went to like 4 years ago in NJ. the ktigers did a demonstration with the korean national team. some of the clips i think are of the nation team.

  • nice, but i like the korea national team better.

  • woohoo am traning this!

  • Muitoo doido

  • ohhh snap!!!!!

  • dose any body know a you tube clipe that will tech me how to back flip and front flip? thank you.

    erika

  • This is all for show, I bet these nimrods can't fight for their lives.

  • why don't you go and try them lol

  • lol believe what you want but alot of people who train under traditional tae kwon do can kick most of anybodies asses including yours

  • very interesting

  • the guy in the red was tight!

  • Korean Tigers are def. the best TKD team, I've seen.

Much show elements but you still see a lot of reall TKD combination doesn't mean they will do good in TKD competition?

  • WOW...that was amazing!! I love martial art. I think it's unique and fantastic. Thanks for sharing. When was this? Please tell. Thanks!

  • well if u check out some demonstration vids the brake bricks, and roof panels

  • O my gosh dude u guyz need to chill out on ea other.... yes they ar the best TKD demo team ... blah blah speed a big factor... The boards:

    1: thinner=Cheaper

2: better chance of more pieces flyin everywhere for a good show

and anyway if u did know they are the best then why would u doubt their abilty to break thicker boards

  • What you must remember about those boards, though, is that they're _really_ thin. You just give one a good whiplash while holding it in your hand, and it snaps. Awesome flip kicks and stuff, but I'd like to see it in actual use, not a scripted combat where nobody's making contact.

    Peace,

    JT

  • they are like that for a reason though. they are a DEMONSTRATION team, not a fighting team, they are going to show off, it wouldn't look very good if they went to do a kick, and the board didn't break. They are all tricks of the trade to make it look good. James Pidcock 3rd Dan (World and European Taekwonmudo Champion - poomse, creative poomse, breaking, self defence and 1 step sparring)

  • One problem...it's perfectly possible to break boards, several boards, each 1" thick, without hurting yourself. I do it at tournaments all the time. Repeatedly. In rapid succession. You just have to be able to get power behind your techniques. Apparently "demonstration" doesn't need to demonstrate real power?

    Peace,

    JT

  • have you seen the amount of speed that they have when doing the techniques, the basic formula is that speed*strength=power! there is a lot of power, but it makes it look good, they are not doing power breaking where they have to go through as many boards as possible. They are doing demonstration breaking. So in answer to the question, yeah they need power, but they use thin boards for showmanship! it's just a trick

  • I don't do power breaking all that much either. I can still break at least two 1"-thick boards with a good fast kick. Speed isn't everything. Whip your foot at a board as fast as you want, you'll just break your foot all the worse if your technique isn't right. I'm not saying that they're complete fakers. I'm just saying it's not exactly hard to break those boards, so that lessens the impact to me as a viewer who's won trophies for breaking multiple boards twice that thick.

  • a scenario: you are watching the best in the world, and something goes wrong with a thick board, they don't break it. with a thin board, it is much easier, and at the end of the day, technique for them is not a problem, they have been training atleast 6 hours a day for TKD! It kinda comes naturally! They are the best taekwondo demonstration team in the world. Much rather see them do a fast proper technique through that board, than do a good technique through a thick board and fail!

  • oh, and, aswell as their technique being perfect. speed is everything. u try doing a front kick lifting your leg slowly, and how high does it go (belt height) you do it fast and it goes above your head. if something is done fast it is much more likely to break than if they have perfect technique but no speed!

  • I didn't say go slow. Speed is a factor, but not as much a factor as proper technique. Look back to what I said my point was: as someone who's been training in martial arts for over 8 years now, and someone who's been breaking boards for almost as long, it's not as impressive to me to see someone breaking something that's not hard to break.

    Peace,

    JT

  • well, i have been doing taekwondo since i was 5, and i'm now 17 years old. I am world champion in the technical breaking event, which is what they r doing here. trust me, I know what im talking about.

james pidcock assistant technical director (BTMA)

  • So you say. But apparently you don't understand what _I'm_ saying. Last time, and this discussion is over: For _me_, as someone who regularly breaks boards much thicker than that with no loss of speed, watching them break those matchsticks isn't all that impressive.

    Peace,

    JT

  • E=1/2*m*v*v

this is formula for kinetic energy (in this case it means the power of hit) v-speed, m-weight, E-enegy.

    Speed IS everything :)

  • LOL... this is why they are so good at breakdance... they can fly for a small amount of time =P

  • this is crazy man..

  • insane...

    awsome video!

  • This is WTF. World Taekwondo Federation. One of many different organizations in Taekwondo. This is unique given their impressive power, speed, and constantration. Taekwondo, like any other style art of self-defense, must be respected and honored. My instructor was a student of GM Park and General Choi who was also a GM.

  • tkd266 how did you know GM. Hong Sung Chon? is he your master?

He is my Master in philippines he is 8th dan how come you're 9th? please dont say some names if you dont really know them show some respect.

  • I've actually trained with some of these guys before, could hardly keep up. :p

  • wow better

  • Ohhhh THAT's where they get their breakdancing skills...

  • im a black belt 2nd dan lvl 1 but im not really good thow

i go to ATI in Australia

  • Where did u get this? Anyway, it's cool to see the Korea Tigers. My master used to be the team captain but he eithier went to the miltary or U.S. in the 90's. Me and my friend are both 1 danand we can do a few flips from this but we usually fall TT-TT.

  • Not saying is not good, but like the name, is just a show. Any true martial artist would agree with me that the combative value of their movement is very low. Do not mean to offend anyone, just stating my opinion regarding these types of preformence.

  • You know people said the same thing about spinning back kicks, a hook kicks. Look at those now, as a martial artist I don't rule out anything as useable technique. I mean isn't that what training is for, I wouldn't just go out and try some crazy technique on someone unless I had no choice. I train with my friend and we both try new things that people are quick to rule out as non viable techniques, some work some don't but you never know.

  • KinL69... the korean tigers are a "demo team" which means that yes it is just for show. However that doesn't mean that they're not amazing martial artists. How about you try half the stuff they do? P.S. The korean tigers have been called the best demo team in the world.

  • you know what tkd266 you are so wrong... first off, there is no such thing as a 10th dan in TKD! Second, if you were this big shot that you say you are, we'd probably know about you through the media (megazines, tv, etc..) so just stop with your lies and go get a life.

  • thats amazing korean tigers its the worlds best taekwondo in teenage

  • WoW!

  • the yelling forces you to exhale. If you've ever been punched in the gut with your lungs expanded, you'll know why. Exhaling condenses your thorax and abdomen; making it tighter and able to take hits.

  • Even though exhaling contracts your chest cavity; it's not meant to protect your vital organs from attack. That's false logic! It's merely muscular contractions which are a prelude the inhalation which leads to chest cavity expansion. Anyways, having your lungs full of oxygen is always better than having none at all. If your still alive and breathing; I suggest that you agree with me. Thank you.

  • wow excellent stuff here. some of this stuff defies gravity/ logic. Great!

  • where could i download this?..oh my god!..so nice!

  • no affence but they sound like retarted monkeys wen they kick the pices's of woods lol

  • the screaming makes more confusion of the enemy and more power comes out when screaming...i know they sound retarded lol

  • the screaming is a defence system to harden your body.

  • exelent very good tecnick, and incredibles kicks

  • AWSOME: Every martial art has its good and bad points

please respect whatever form it is. andyng01 its obvious you do not know a lot about TKD insomuch as you would know that its not just about high kicks and spins. please learn more about it before commenting

    ty

  • All martial arts is beautiful...so...you all need to STFU and enjoy it.

  • tkd just a sport only .you cant use for street fighting

  • The ki-haps sound like the Steve Oderkerk doing "Betty" from Kung Pow.

  • aren't, or weren't the korean tigers sposored by SNK? anyway, kwon is definitely the bizness. those dudes were like real-life kim kaphwans.

  • Does tae kwon do really have a form of fan fighting, because I'm doing Tai Chi fan..and it's not very cool to do in demo's because i move at like 1 inch per hour.

  • No, they also had a kungfu stylist on that vid.

  • armanmlm and what do you do? bitch kwon do? ppl like you... y do you bother posting. hang your head in shame. from a tree.

  • impresionante

  • all u WTF taekwon do ppl are full of crap pack ur fukin chest and head gear and go to olympics u pussys

  • So what rank are you? red belt? Stop talking crap about other styles unless you've perfected them and trust me, the way you're gloating you haven't perfected WTF. Oh and btw the olympics don't have the best ppl.

  • i dont deal wit all this WTF crap....read u moron i was bashing WTF style because all around the world ppl think taekwon-do is this WTF sport crap that south korea came up with

  • I agree. Still, there are some good WTF people. ATA is far worse, they tend to be the cause of McDojos while WTF perpetuates the sport nonsense. I like ITF but there have been too many scandles with them and the Kukkiwon in the last 10 years.

  • kung fu is best!

  • I liked it when the two dudes did the side kick at the very end.

  • so keep calm and think more about what you say. ^^

  • @tkd266 if you d be a 9 th DAN master at TK you would be much wiser. So your BIG show off only shows that you r infantile.

  • precisely my thoughts on the subject. if he was all he claimed to be, he definitely would not express himself in an egomaniacal/egotistical manner. he is full of utter shit, to be blunt.

  • Nice Video. Whats the name of this Song in this Video?

  • oh boy.... another "master"

  • i asure you jjblinky im a 9th dan, i also know some taekkyon

  • You are talking absolute BS mate. There is no 10th Dan in TKD, cause 3 is the figure for king so 9 is 3 times 3 king of kings highest rank in TKD. I think you probably mean 9th Kup you are getting mixed up.

  • is this fucking toolbox for real?

get a life dude. move out of your mom's basement and make some real goals. its sick that people like you exist, living these fantasy lives. and even if you are all the shit you say you are, its sick that you feel so ready to boast about it.

  • As a Taekwondo master, i assure you that what you are saying is impossible... not unlikely, or improbable, but impossible.

  • 9th dan with 18 years.. stop talking shit

  • well i manage to memorize the techniques and black belt forms, sparring, thesis papers, including the demo kicks. i used to live in the US, i never changed my profile, but i can asure you im living in korea, my 29th birthday is dec 9, the one who is teaching me now is a friend of hong sung chon, his name is kept secret

  • Hello tkd266,

My name must be kept secret for security purposes. However, I am an 11th Dan in Tae Kwon Do and I am only (and you'd never believe it either!) 11 years old. My Master was taught by another Master who was taught by another Master who knew another Master who was taught by another Master a long time ago behind a barn near a hill at the foot of a mountain! Amazing!! That's how authentic and original my Tae Kwon Do is compared to all others.

  • abomb123456789... It takes 3 years to get to black belt, to get to 9th degree black belt it takes 50 years, and 10th degree blackbelt is what you get when you pass away. YOU'RE NOT A 11 YEAR OLD 11TH DEGREE BLACKBELT... nice try

  • My comment was not meant to be taken seriously by anyone who read through the comments. It's was meant as a parody of the poster named "tkd266" who claims to be a something or other in Tae Kwon Do which is false. Please read thoroughly first before jumping to conclusions. It appears you have a "yellow belt" in reading! Practice gernerally makes perfect (generally).

  • it takes 4 years u retard!

  • I have documentation, report cards, attendance cards, and a library card so you can look up my credentials easy! I look forward to being YOUR New Master in the coming weeks. I wish you luck!

  • tkd266

Grand Master Hong Sung Chon is my Master in philippines how did you know him. please dont involve some people you dont know if you are going to say some crap stories show some respect.

  • I was lucky enough to train with Master Park of the Korean Tigers. He was the one to pass my 3rd dan black belt. I felt so privilaged :)

  • oh and btw, have u learned... tuurrniinng kick yet? or maybe that is a bit high for u!?

  • tkd266 u r gay and i want to fight u! see how great u are then! simple!

  • im undergoing a special traning eveyday for the past 25 years, meaning i stared at age 3, everday except sunday for 10 hours.

  • mate u suck lol

    i was 3rd dan when i was 6

  • that doesnt nessisarily mean you were good. nor can anyone judge your skill over the internet if they cannot see u. u can easily have gone to a mcdojo, blackbelts should be able to defend themselves once they receive the rank and at 6 you are not physically developed enough to be able to fend off attackers even 16 years of age..defintly not full adults of 20 and up.

  • TKD266 full of shit its impossible to be a 9th dan at that age no grandmaster in the world would allow that no matter how much you trained and if you 28 living in korea y dos your profile say your 18 living in the US bullshitter

  • you are so full of crap.

  • i will be the 6th person to master taekwondo, after maybee 3 more years ill get the last belt in taekwondo.

i forgot to say tha before you can become a 9th dan you need to be 53 years old, yes 53!!! no mistake im only 28,

  • im a 9th dan black belt in taekwondo and im only 28 years old, i have written contracts with the korean grand masters, thus allowing me to have a high belt degree at this age. there are age requirements for each dan grade, age 15 is the lowest age limit for 1st dan black belt, im living in korea now! there are only 5 people with 10th dan in taekwondo today

  • yeah! Stroke that ego!

  • You're gay. Go home.

  • I highly doubt it! You're probably only a yellow belter and have forgot your forms and self defense combos already. You very funny mister!!

  • taekwondo is the best martial arts in the world, im saying this because taekwondo teaches you to use both of your hands and feet with great accuracy, speed, flexibility.

  • Although this routine is amazing, I think they need a new one.

  • Whats up with koreans..? how come their so good at things....
